Great location to all amenities, the shops, bars, restaurants and sea front. Very roomy accommodation.

The garage is very tricky to negotiate, parked there once, but managed to find parking on nearby streets after that.

Spacious cottage in a quiet location close to the centre of the town within easy walking distance of the shops, beach and supermarket.

Parking in the garage was too tricky but we found street parking within easy walk of the house.

This cottage was in an ideal location; a very short walk to the beach, the town and all the facilities, yet undisturbed. We were quite a large group consisting of 2 adults and 4 children and there was enough room for us all. It was particular useful having two bathrooms and a third toilet. The property was clean and prepared for our arrival. Jon, the owner, was also very responsive to any queries we had. We found the garage door difficult to lock, and he quickly had someone to come and look at it. Our holiday was during the peak summer period and comparing the price to other holiday lettings that accommodated for our family size, we found it quite reasonable price.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property but if pushed, I would have to say the dining room could have been a little more inviting, the garden needed a bit of a tidy, and the mattress in the little room was found to be a little lumpy.

Great location, super cosy cottage with lots of charm and character. Well equipped modern kitchen with everything you would need. A spacious property perfect to use either as a base or just relax. Bedrooms work well with the space and give you lots of flexibility. Quiet location and access to shopping and beach on the level for elderly relative. Communication with host was prompt and responsive and would not hesitate to book again.

Loved Heydons house, it was excellently furnished, had everything we needed, clean and comfortable. Great location, just around the corner from the centre of Sidmouth. Very quiet, you're definitely gonna have a peaceful time, (if that's what you're after) equally you can simply nip into town for a good time. Great communication from Jon the owner, so if you're looking for a fab break away from it all, you won't go far wrong in booking Heydons.

Nothing really, although as Jon says, the garage is a little tight, but another helping pair of eyes done the trick for us.
