Hilton Club The Central at 5th New York

We spent 2 weeks here at the Hilton, and I’m so glad we chose this hotel. It did not disappoint. It felt more bougie than a typical 3 star hotel, so rely on the customer reviews and location as opposed to the star rating. Highly recommend staying here, 10/10 experience overall especially for value for money for New York hotel options. * Amazing staff who are helpful and friendly * Spacious room * Great facilities * VERY comfortable bed 10/10 - by far the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve been in amongst our many years of travel which was a very pleasant surprise * Ample bench space in the bathroom - great for storing makeup and other toiletries * Very spacious shower * Nice street view of the city, with the option of sheers and block out blinds * Iron and ironing board that work properly and didn’t stain clothes * Unlimited free filtered water on Level 2, as well as daily bottled water provided by housekeeping * Proper umbrellas available for use during stay * Bathrobes * Housekeeping daily, and offers to assist via text even with ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door * Prime location - right off 5th avenue, close to food options, a variety of shops including luxury options, some main attractions (Rockefeller Centre, Times Square, Central Park etc.) and different subway stations so you can get everywhere in New York via subway. Highly recommend the following food options nearby: * Lenwich - sandwiches * Broad Nosh Bagel - bagels * Ralph’s coffee van - coffee * The Best Sichuan - Chinese * Dunkin’ - for cheap breakfast deal option * Small food truck with a lovely operator, who offers great quality and affordable pastries on the corner of 48th and Madison Avenue between 5am and 11am on weekdays (approx. 400 Madison Avenue) - leave the hotel, turn right and turn right again

Very modern, great size , really good location.

Location and cleanliness

None

The location is excellent, not too far from the thick of it.

It’s a business hotel, no frills , bar restaurants etc. no place to chill after a day out.
