were kept awake by a mouse who was making squeaking and scratching noises all night long. My husband and I were unable to sleep due to the noises and we contacted hospitality by email during the night. After no response by mid morning to the email, we called and spoke to an employee first hand. She assured someone would be calling us and taking care of the mouse issue. When no one called, we decided to stop into the office later that afternoon. We were told two separate times the manager would be getting with us to handle the situation. Unfortunately, no one ever contacted us. To put it plainly, the customer service and communication we experienced was very poor and that is extremely disappointing.

A few things we weren’t super thrilled about..
The curtains next to the door were falling off the rod when we got there, and they were so tall we couldn’t fix them the whole weekend.
There is no dishwasher. It felt like a handful of the dishes weren’t cleaned properly, leaving us to re-wash them. I also found some else’s old condom wrapper under the bed while we were cleaning up. I do wish the scannable code for the Fitness Club would have worked. We tried it twice while we were there with no luck.
However, the hot tub was relaxing and the town was nice and tidy like usual. We loved playing basketball next to the school and hitting our volleyball around on the court next to Mama Tig’s. ♥️
When we arrived, the rental was clean and refreshingly cold. However, after coming back from the beach late Saturday morning we found that the A/C wasn't working. We left multiple messages on the number for 24 hr. maintenance throughout the weekend. We also submitted a maintenance request Saturday evening through the app but never heard back from anyone in regards to the messages either of us left or the request we made. We also sent an email to Zoe, who had sent us our onboarding email, asking for help. The heat made it difficult to sleep both Saturday and Sunday evening and it made us not want to be in our rental at all which was disappointing since we had come to Carlton Landing for an anniversary trip and to have down-time and to rest.
We left with a soured experience but still hopeful that someone would finally reply to our messages and at least help us understand why our requests for help were not answered or acknowledged. We waited 5 days but never heard back from anyone. We then sent an email to Kayla and David who are the Directors of Hospitality and Operations, respectively. We did not receive one until 12 days after our email and the day after I called and left a respectful voicemail at David’s office.We just received a short email from Kayla saying: “I am terribly sorry for the experience you had. There are major changes happening in our community soon especially regarding the Rental Program. The reply and the timing weren’t what we were expecting from a place that we had heard so much g
