Great property for Spring Break! The heated pool kept the kids entertained everyday since the community pools were not opened for the season.

My wife and I took our three boys, ages 11, 7, and 4, to stay at this beautiful home. The location is perfect, walking distance to the Meeting House, Tig's pizza, the shops and both pools. Firefly Park is across the street, with a community fire pit in front of the house. The property itself has an amazing back yard and our kids enjoyed the pool, which they found was a real treat. The bedrooms are small, but functional and given everything around to do, we only found ourselves sleeping in them without any other time spent in them to speak of. The upstairs living area is great for gathering and relaxing, and the double doors out on to the covered patio overlooking the park was great as well. A great place to unwind and relax. Will definitely be back soon.

We wanted a short getaway before school started back and that’s exactly what we got! The kids didn’t want to leave the private pool! I usually can’t get them away from the lake but the whole trip was spent in the pool! Loved the stay!! The little kids also enjoyed the “hide away” at the top of the kitchen! It was their special spot!

After our beach vacation had to be canceled due to a family member’s medical emergency we still needed a get-a-way but closer to home. That beach trip was going to be our first try at VRBO (usually prefer hotel stays for our vacations). We decided to stick with a home rental and settled on this house. Carlton Landing is local but you definitely get the feel of a beachside community. The property we were fortunate to select was perfect for us, very nice yet family friendly furniture and fixtures. Plenty of space and sleeping areas. Great family/kitchen areas, inside the house and backyard. Outside seating areas were perfect for morning coffee even in July . The convenience of the laundry room at the entry was perfect, coming in from the Lake and pool. Separate Bungalow in back was perfect for Grandma to come stay and have her own space. Kids LOVED the backyard waterfall pool, actually we all did! Definitely recommend a golf cart rental in the summer months, everything is in walking distance but the hills will have you working up a sweat. Negatives were very minor- outside fridge did not work, no working outlets to charge the golf cart and the outside amenities and landscaping could use a little clean-up. All in all a great mini-vacation for us and worth recommending! We’ll definitely try to get this property again on our next trip to Lake Eufaula.

Our family stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. We had a blast exploring the town and relaxing by the pool. The house was everything it promised to be, clean, nice, everything we needed.
