Upon arrival at night. You are greeted by a lot
of police, metal detectors and security. We found out it is because the area can be quite busy in the evenings. However we felt totally safe and Mark the security guard was amazing! The apt was spacious but was in need of a deep clean. There was trash and spills under my bed…the shower could use a grout cleaner. The couch cushions needed cleaning, the walls a scrub and the carpets could use a deep clean.
Overall I enjoyed the stay but these things would have made it better.

The property was as advertised and seamless to get in. The parking info was out dated - I reserved on line, but the garage no longer had the scanners to support the web based reservation. It all worked out though, with a cooperative parking group and the good news is that there are several garages nearby that can be used with scanning apps or just your phone as well as parking on the street for short term (2 hr. sections). We were there at the same time as a Pink concert at Comerica and parking was still available right next door.

Very clean, wonderful view of the GM buildings. 15-20 min walk to the stadiums. (We saw the Tigers play). 10 minute walk to the river to look across to Canada. Interesting bars and restaurants nearby.
7-11 is on the ground floor (very convenient).
If you want to be in heart of downtown Detroit energy, this is a great option that won’t break the bank.

This place is located close to everything! You can see Canada from the window. The only bad thing and it has nothing to do with the place, is the outside noise from the drag racing and motorcycles all night long.

In and out the property was very smooth. In downtown Detroit with easy access to any location. Convenient parking around the property. Finally, excellent security people especially Michael.

We were in town for Tigers Opening Day. This a great place to stay if you are doing anything in the downtown area. Within walking distance of everything. Place was very open and inviting. We will consider renting here again.

The place was a great stay, however there were a few items to note. The floors were dirty in both bedrooms and the kitchen. Also, and more importantly, the pull out bed in the living room did fold out properly so two people were left to sleep on the mattress that we pulled from the sofa. Not ideal.

Stayed at this apartment for the Red Wings game. Locations was great. East walk to everything. Apartment was clean and well organized. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location for our trip while close parking although expensive for less than 48 hours. Lighting in living area not great for later night game playing. Loved exploring some of the city and would do VRBO next time we visit!! My second stay in Sonder property which met expectations!!

Location and layout was great. However, unit was not cleaned very well. Wall art in bedrooms had so much dust it looked like dryer lint. Seemed like staff cut a lot of corners when it came to cleaning. Also, exterior keypad did not work well.

This location was fabulous! The space was very clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable, and the check in/check out process was a breeze. We were a 3 minute walk to Campus Martius and great restaurants! We will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this location!

Unit was clean. Building security excellent. Beds (mainly broken pullout couch) horrible, uncomfortable. Hot water was more lukewarm than anything. Zero dishtowels, take your own pans we had literaly one fry pan- zero sauce pans.
We would stay again but not rely on the email of what they provide in unit.

Friendly staff, comfortable place, great amenities. The best part was the location and being so close to everything Detroit has to offer. We will be back!

I reserved this place for a boys weekend for Pistons and Red Wings games. Location was fabulous, price was reasonable, and we each had our own bed. The place was stocked with the basics and also had a washer and dryer. Also had a nice view, lots of windows, and is a corner unit. I'd definately stay here again.

Property was well maintained and was very impressed with the check in and check out simplicity. I would recommend Sonder properties and look forward to staying at one in the near future.

We had a great time staying here! It is very close to the casino and has a very convenient 7/11 downstairs. Checking in/out was simple as well as getting in and out the the room/building.

Overall the location is probably hard to beat especially at this price. The place is listed as 1 bedroom, it's actually 2. Confirmed before booking. Has everything you would realistically need. However, this is a Sonder property. I didn't know what that meant but it's another company that manages properties. After I had booked, I had to create yet another account, login and send them a copy of my license and let them take a picture of me. I am not comfortable doing that but didn't have a choice as our other stay was canceled. As far as cleaning, the floors did not seem like they had seen a good mopping in a while. Mattress covers were also dirty. Not really that big of a deal just points to very quick turnaround. Everything else seemed clean.

Cons: property was filthy, floors sticky, cups dirty in the cabinets, property worker came into the property before we checked out and started throwing away our food!

This was a great location within walking distance to everything Detroit has to offer. There are many parking garages nearby. The apartment was a nice size and very functional. The beds were not so comfortable, but just a personal preference!
