We have worked with Coastal Vacation Rentals for many years and have been more than satisfied each time. There staff is patient,
And efficient. This was the first time in 150 Ocean View. I found the condo to be very clean, in fact, spotless. It had all the things we needed provided. The beds were very comfortable. There is a short walk to the beach. Two parking spaces
Are provided and you can walk to town, the pier, and great dining. If I had a question or concern I simply called and it was taken care of be their staff.

150 Ocean Vies Rental
We loved the location and all the amenities in the home. The home was very well furnished with everything we needed, other than there was only one pod for the dishwasher, Only suggestion is to remove some of the excess decorations like all the dried flower arrangements and the wooden plates and napkins on the dining table. Guests just have to move these out of the way and the flower arrangements are also a dust collector. The large table had wooden protrusions hanging down on both the ends and the middle of the table, so some bruises from bumping into them when seated. These were minor annoyances. Overall we loved the rental home!!

No Car Needed!
The vacation home was convenient and close to the beach. The jacuzzi and fire pit made our evenings even more spectacular where we roasted marshmallows and shared family evenings. The parking provided easy access in and out. We love it here! Golfed in Grover Beach! No bad restaurants either! Great customer service provided by the staff at Coastal Vacation Rentals. We won't rent from anybody else!

Not the best stay!
After 30 plus years Pismo has gotten dirty,trashy and full of dope smoking people. Bums urinate in public and sleep in doorways. Sidewalks are grungy and stickie and trash and cigarette butts everywhere. Had a family of orphan raccoons and got no help from property management had to call Pacific wildlife rescue to retrieve them. Property is now very dated and the furnishings are wearing out. This used to be our favorite spot but we will be looking for more updated accommodations.

We came back, spent a 1 week winter stay.
Enjoy staying at this partiular condo because it is very close to beach and boardwalk, very nicely furnished, a complete 2 bdrm home, and all at ground level. It is perfect for persons who find it difficult to climb stairs. We feel no one will be disappointed when staying here.

150 Oceanview
On the surface, this property looks to be in very good condition; however, there were some shortcomings. We were afraid to use the spa because it was unclear how to deal with the cover which is not in good condition. The fire pit had some issues as well and kept going out during our use, but the kids did enjoy it. At 2:30 am the guest bed broke, but was promptly repaired the next day. It was noted that one side of the bed frame had been reinforced previously. We will rent again next year, but will select a different unit. This one would be a good "girl's weekend retreat" but for a family it is a bit too "frilly". Under all circumstances the property management staff were very helpful and professional. Just a side note, we are hopefully that the hazard condition of the beach is corrected soon or after over 20 years of vacationing at Pismo Beach we will select another location. It was a definite health hazard all week. I went to Arroyo Grande ER with a toe infection which I assume was from walking through that contaminated water to get to the beach. Shame on the City and County for not correcting this situation in a timely manner. Thank you for the opportunity to provide my comments.

Home away from home
The house was in a great location! Close walking distance to beach. Nice playground with swings and slide for kids on the beach near by. House located not on a busy street. Loved the little backyard for kids to run around. Great grill to bbq and the firepit was great to make smores!! The only thing this home away from home needed for us was a strainer for the pasta I made.

Great Place and Great Location
The rental property was perfect. The kitchen was very well stocked. The outside patio was really nice with the hot tub and the fire pit. It was the perfect size for what we needed. The only drawback was when people moved in upstairs it sounded like elephants running above our heads. Also it would be nice to have some beach towels stocked there so we don't have to bring our own from home. Overall a good experience.

Vacation Stay 2011
The unit needed lights replaced in several locations including over dining room table. Also light by the easy chair. Reported to management advised that was house keepers responsibility. Flood light in hall way needs replacement but the bulb will not unscrew from fixture though a replacement was available. Also problem with sand in hot tub even after spa service was there. Used only once by family. The patio area never seems to be swept or patio table wipe off two years now. We have rented in this building for about twenty years and enjoy the location very much much. We look forward to staying there again next year.

This is about the third time I have stayed here and I never choose anywhere else when I travel with my family; because of the location, quietness, and ammenities. Love it!

Vacation stay
This is our third year in this property and it is always great. We have used this rental company for over 15 years and have found them to be the best. Overall experience is a 10. Only improvements would be more light in dining area always dark no matter what time it is. Master Bath drains slows but the other property we rented there also had problems. Sliding door going out to patio needs some servicing a little difficult to open. I cleaned it up getting sand and grit from underneath and it worked better.

Annual Summer Trip
This was our 3rd year renting this location for our family vacation, it was great, lots of fun with family and very convenient to be able to just walk to the end of the street and watch the fireworks on the 4th of July. Fun for everyone.

Just our luck - Pile Driver in town...
We had a pleasant stay. This was our second stay at the same address. Both visits were very enjoyable. We drove down to California from Canada and experienced snow through the Canadian Rockies and then rain once entering the United States all the way from the border to San Francisco. Pismo Beach was sunny and warm our entire week long visit and it was well appreciated!
A few things that we could have done without was:
The daily, non-stop post piling at a construction site a few blocks away. We found it was too noisy to be in the backyard during our stay.
Also, the front door latch was broken and we had to block the front latch socket with cardboard and rely on the dead bolt to keep the door closed. Not a big deal and we informed the vacation rental employee that this needed repair.

Pismo Visit
We have rented this property for several years and has always matched our expectations. We have rented through Coastal Vacation Rentals for about 15 years and they are the best. Negatives are the ice maker was not working and the dining area is very dark needs upgraded lighting. Also found light bulbs burned out. Wifi hookup was marginal! Still overall a good bargain considering the location is so close to the beach and other activities. Mcclintocks has gone up in price and the food was poor worst ribs I ever eaten. Stick to AJ Spurs or Jockos in Nimpomo.

Annual Pismo trip!
We have stayed in this property before and have always enjoyed it. Again a mostly enjoyable experience with exception of the people who stayed above us very noisy late into night and very rude. It sounded like they moved furniture all night with a very audible dragging sound. Best experience for downstairs is when upstairs unit is not rented or occupied with young children.

150 Ocean View
We loved this property's location! It was nice and clean. just to let you know there is no shower in the master bath. This was unexpected but there was only a few of us so we were able to easily use the shower in the hall bath. Also, the patio is off of the master bedroom which still worked out fine. We could hear the people upstairs and like another review said, it did sound like they were moving furniture. This is a very nice place and really close to everything! I would love to stay at this property again!

Wonderful Place to Stay in Pismo Beach!
We really enjoyed this rental property. Very nicely appointed with beautiful and comfortable furniture, a fabulous kitchen, and wonderful hot tub. The only thing missing was being able to sit on a deck and see the ocean. But we were only a few hundred feet from the beach so we didn't miss this much at all. I highly recommend this place to anyone. We will be sure to come back in summers to come!
