The staff were absolutely lovely, super accommodating and attentive. The concierge was proactive about assisting with our luggage, and welcomed us back to the hotel around 6 days later when we stayed there again - it felt nice to be recognised by staff despite only seeing them once. The hotel and rooms, particularly the bathrooms were mostly clean and breakfast had many options as well. The location was also a bonus, only around 10min walk to the main square and only a 5 min walk to the G Adventures office and other tour agencies.

While the rooms were great, our first room we stayed in was a little dusty, however, this did not bother us too much as we had two ceiling windows we could open to let the dust out and let the breeze and sunslight in. Additionally, just be mindful of noise in the evening or early mornings on the streets, though this is not the hotel's fault.

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. On our first day we left at 5am for Machu Picchu, and they prepared a lovely breakfast package for us to take on the early-morning excursion. They also had complimentary oxygen as advertised (which, fortunately, we didn't need to use).

The location was a bit out of town — approximately a fifteen-minute walk to the main square. The room was very average, and ours was located in the centre of the hotel with no privacy. Breakfast was below average; we skipped it the second day and opted for a café.
