We stayed at this property in December. The vibrant centre of Valetta is a 5-10 min walk up the (steep) steps where there’s many food, drink and shopping options. And a further 5-10 min walk to the buses.
If the steps are too much, then the elevator to the Upper Barakka Gardens is a 2 min walk.
The wonderful views from the small balcony look across the Grand Harbour to the three cities. It was fascinating to watch the coming and goings of this busy harbour.
The apartment was very spacious for our family of 4. The caretaker, Sandra, met us on arrival and got us settled in. For a small fee she also provided some basic food which actually turned out to be a good idea (for our hungry family).
The Gozo ferry and 3 cities ferry are only a 5 min walk.

Very comfy beds and couches and a beautiful and well equipped kitchen.
Close and easy access to historic centre by lift or by the stairs through Victoria Gate and to ferries to Gozo and Three Cities.
Valletta is stunning with so much to see and do.

My husband and I and a friend spent 8 days in this Valetta apartment. Sandra arranged transport from the airport and met us on arrival.
The apartment was very comfortable for 3 people. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the airconditioning since it was quite hot when we were there in mid October.
The apartment was in a very quiet location, very close to the Gozo ferry and water taxis to Birgu.
The lift to Upper Barraka Gardens was close by - handy if you don't want to climb up all the stairs to the centre of Valetta! It took us about 15 minutes to get to the bus terminal via the lift.
There was a nice view of the harbour from the balcony, over the adjacent building. It was especially nice at night when all the buildings across the harbour were lit up.
All in all we had a very good stay in Debra's apartment.

What a find! This large apartment was perfect ! Only 5-10 from ferries, lift to Barrakka gardens, shops & many restaurants & bars! Easy to get around on foot. The ferry’s & buses are easy & cheap! Loved this place .

Wonderful apartment very close to everything Valletta has to offer. The apartment is fully equipped with all we needed. A very comfortable bed and a lovely clean apartment. Debra the owner and Sandra who met us at checkin were both so helpful. We will definitely return.

Getting hold of the owners was simple and response was good We were shown around by Sandra (always nice to meet the owner) who did show us how to work washing machine and air con etc and organised a shop so we had enough for breakfast and sandwiches Was a little disappointed that the top balcony wasn’t attached to a room as we thought from the pictures and had to go up the hallway to top floor. We had a little difficulty getting hold of Wi-Fi password as the welcome pack wasn’t to hand for a few days. Just a suggestion that there were written/typed instructions (within the welcome pack) on what to do with waste/recycling etc as the bin lid wasn’t in English and maybe about other appliances with the apartment Also maybe some suggestions of local restaurants in the area and places to visit though there were quite a few leaflets to hand. The above are just thoughts to help future visitors. We did have a great stay in this spacious home and the location was perfect with interesting views of the comings and going’s in the harbour. Go on try it for yourself 😃

The apartment is just lovely - really spacious, and thankfully the air conditioning works really well as it was 30C and higher while we were there!
The beds are really comfortable - great mattresses that were just right (no springs poking into you), decent pillows, and pretty much everything that you could require for a stay in the beautiful city of Valletta. The balcony was brilliant - I loved sitting on that in the mornings with a cup of coffee watching the sun rise over the harbour, watching the enormous cruise ships coming in and out, and enjoying the regular fireworks displays. We also enjoyed the roof terrace for star gazing in the late evenings, but it was far too hot to sit up there and eat while we were there.
The apartment is really well located - a short walk down to the waterfront for the fast ferry to Gozo, or the ferries over to the Three Cities, and a equally short, but rather steep walk up to Upper Barrakka Gardens and the main city with all the shops, bars and restaurants. Loads of great food and drink to be had in the city as well - plenty of excellent Italian food, and some wonderful seafood and fish.
Debra was brilliant in giving us tips on where to go (Mdina is a must see, as are the catacombs in Rabat - both a 30 minute or so bus ride, and the island of Gozo), and Sandra was also just as helpful organising taxis, food for when we arrived, and suggesting where to go.
Honestly one of the nicest properties I've rented, and in such a beautiful city as well!

The apartment is just like in the pictures, and the views are magnificent. We especially liked the roof terrace in the evenings. If we ever come back to Valletta we will be sure to stay here again. Thank you!

We loved staying at Debra's place. A spacious and homely gem with lovely eclectic decoration and all amenities. The views are divine, especially from the terrace, and the location is walkable to central Valletta. To top it off, the always energetic Sandra was fantastic assisting our check-in and all our airport transfers. Thank you Debra and Sandra for a great stay!

Property is in a perfect location for exploring Valletta and is very comfortable. There was some early morning noise from repair work to the city walls but this did not detract from our overall enjoyment. Sandra, the caretaker, was enormously helpful with reuniting us with a mobile phone that we managed to drop as we vacated the property. Valletta has many historical buildings and some very nice restaurants and bars.

This apartment served all our needs. (Three adult women.) Great location just on the edge of busy town, walkable to everything. Not fancy, but roomy, well appointed, quiet, great view. Owner very responsive and manager helped when we had questions. I think we walked every inch of Valletta, and rented a car to see the interesting/historic parts of the island and Gozo. (Driving is challenging unless you are experienced.) Very fun, interesting place to visit.

Almost set into the side of the cliffs below Upper Barrakka Gardens, this apartment has a lovely view from the balcony across the Grand Harbour to the Three Cities. Keep an eye out for one of the huge cruise ships coming in to berth. To the other side is a cliff face where some repair work was going on during our stay (late March 2023). Yes, it did start early in the morning, but it really wasn’t that noisy, and I suspect it won’t take much longer to complete.
To get to central Valletta you have two choices. One is to take a five minute walk down to the Upper Barrakka Gardens lift. It costs one euro for a return journey. It’s made of glass so I would recommend doing it at least once for fun and views. The Gardens themselves are one of the few places with a better view to the Three Cities than the apartment. The other choice for getting into the centre is to walk up 100+ steps spread over several flights. The steps are very shallow and I had no real problem despite being over 60 and overweight.
A very handy aspect to the location is that you're only a few minutes’ walk from both the ferry to the Three Cities and the fast ferry to Gozo. We used both and would highly recommend them.
The living space here is excellent (bearing in mind there was just the two of us). The kitchen is spacious, complete with a large table and plenty of worktop. The furnishings are a little tired, but there is ample crockery, cutlery, glassware, etc.
The main bathroom suffers from very low water pressure for the shower, but it’s roomy and everything works.
The main bedroom is again roomy, has plenty of storage and possibly the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in when renting. Great night’s sleep every time.
The TV lounge has two large settees, but it must be said they desperately need repairing. They look fine but turn into buckets when you sit on (in!) them. The TV has very few channels in English other than news, but we take Google TV with us anyway.
Other than the cliff repairs, the apartment is in a quiet location in a well-maintained building. The few other residents we met seemed very friendly.
Speaking of friendly, thank you Sandra for the starter groceries and for your help in getting us settled in. We also greatly appreciated the airport transfer service for 25 euros each way.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no issue staying here again should we return to Valletta.

Spacious and well located property with beautiful views over the Three Cities. We encountered some issues with the plumbing, but it was fixed quickly. We were unfortunate to coincide with very noisy building works opposite, starting at 7am each day (including weekends), but once this is completed I can imagine it would be a perfect place to stay whilst in Malta. If we return to Malta we would definitely stay there again. The property manager Sandra had welcomed us with some food and drink essentials, which was lovely.

This flat is a delight and the communication with Debra and Sandra was top drawer.
The location is perfect, within easy walking (horse steps not withstanding) distance of the shops, eateries and museums of Valletta and very close to the Three Cities ferry which takes you across the harbour to explore Birgu (Vittoriosa), Senglea (Isla) and Bormla (Cospicua).
The flat is very well appointed and secure and the care shown to our party was when we arrived was exceptional. I highly recommend this property for a stay and I very much hope to book it out next time we visit.

Debra accommodated us with very short notice, communication was brilliant and Sandra also welcomed us by meeting us at the property with some food provisions. Sandra helped us during our stay with a taxi & answering other questions we had. The house is lovely, very homely, clean with comfy beds, lots of towels, extra pillows & spare sheets & a few bits & bobs in the kitchen & bathroom cupboards. The view from the little balcony is lovely, the view from the roof garden is spectacular. Easy access to the waterfront & the main part of Valletta with lots of fab cafe’s, restaurants & bars on the walk up the hill from Victoria gate. Would 100% recommend and come back with or without the children. Thanks Debra & Sandra

Wonderful Place on a Wonderful Island!
Debra's place was amazing. Not only was it beautiful, spacious and clean but the location was fabulous. Just at the base of the Old City (a stones throw from the Victoria Gate) it was the perfect spot from which to explore Valletta! Debra's caretaker, Sandra, was extremely helpful, our late night cab from the airport (arranged by Debra) came off without a hitch and, because it was so late, rather than Sandra meeting us at the property, the cab driver, apparently a family friend of Debra and/or Sandra's, had our keys and let us into the apartment. Sandra had stocked the place, as promised, with lots of goodies for us so we had plenty food for some breakfasts and lunches. First thing the next morning Sandra contacted us and arranged to meet us to show us various things. She was wonderful and always available when we had questions. Really a top knotch place and experience! Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else if we're fortunate enough to make it back to Malta one day! Thank you Deb and Sandra!

Accommodations were excellent. Location was amazing. Roof deck was amazing with views and privacy.
Some ants were around and one bathroom was uncomfortable and not suitable for a larger than average person.
