Enjoyed the pool as the days were very hot. We found the bed very comfortable. No real breakfast or dining amenities (just coffee) but that is all available within a short walk (a few minutes) into town.

Perfect for day trips to the vinyard . 5 minute walk to the ferry. Nice view of the water from the room. Owners were very helpful. Would stay again.

We soaked in all the quiet we were looking for....in a very comfortable room with a view of the ocean. Motor Inn and Harbor House staff were warm and helpful and accommodating. The pool was a delightful oasis of calm surrounded by flowers. White butterflies enjoyed, too.
We would very much look forward to a next time!

Sands of time is a gem. Prime location for starters and also a meticulously maintained property with retro appeal. Started everyday with a water view and coffee on our balcony. Ended everyday in the heated pool before a stroll to dinner at any number of good restaurants. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful—everyone made an effort to see that our stay was pleasant. The water, the beach, and a great place to stay. We will go again and again.

The Inn is in a pleasant area in Cape Cod, close to the Steamship over to Martha Vineyards. Close to many local stores/shops. It's a bit old, and nostalgic, but definitely dated. To be expected for this inn though. Check in was pleasant. No breakfast. They did provide Bottled Water.
Ample parking close by the building.
The Inn does need some updating. Room door / locks were quite old, floors are a bit uneven, wallpaper seemed to be cracked/peeling. I had spiders in the corner / ceiling of the room, found a few ants, and the bathroom floor still had hair from previous guests stay.

couples holiday clean hotel needs some TLC in the room where repairs to ceiling not carried out profesionally but did not take away the comfort of the room, comfortable room helpful staff, lack of tea or coffee making facility in room that was a downer even though they had it in reception didnt always want to wander of to reception, after sightseeing, would recommend it was relaxing

The staff very helpful and friendly. The property has beautiful landscaping. I loved I could walk to the ferry and the quaint shops. I would suggest coffee makers in the room. The book in the room needs to be updated also,Shukkers does not have a daily special as in the book. Overall I would absolutely stay there. It has an unique charm.

The location of this hotel is great, and the views are stunning. The property is well maintained with beautiful gardens throughout. Guest rooms are immaculate and the beds are comfortable with new mattresses. The staff members were very friendly and helpful, providing great customer service. We would definitely stay here again.

Becky, Bill, Jake were great and we’re always available to assist with anything we needed. Property is nice and while a bit dated, that was part of the charm. Location can’t be beat for walking to the MV ferry, restaurants, and the Shining Sea Bikeway entrance. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Stayed for one night to catch the MV ferry the next day. Room was musty, and very buggy.

The staff was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Extremely convenient that we could buy our ferry tickets at the front desk. The pool was lovely and everything was very clean. The space was dated but that was part of the charm for us. It was wonderful to be within walking distance to the restaurants and shops in Woods Hole and in walking distance to the ferry as well. We didn’t get in our car for a whole weekend! The rooms are also extremely quiet and we never heard a peep from the other guests. The view from our room was beautiful. We look forward to coming back!!!

Stayed for 2 nights and all was great. The owner and staff could not have been more helpful and friendly! Very quick walk to Woods Hole for dining and walking about the Woods Hole Institute. Will definitely stay again!

The motel was great! Super friendly staff (even a sweet pup that greeted us at the door). The walk to restaurants and the ferry was just 5 minutes and the downtown area of Falmouth was less than a 10 minute drive. Plus, almost every room has a balcony with a water view! I will definitely stay here again.

The location of the property right across from the harbor was great. The Inn keepers along with the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. They had coffee for us in the morning.

Bad..rooms old & dated, thin walls, outside rug stayed wet, pool tiles were loose.
Of importance, I have a dog allergy and picked this hotel for that reason, but upon arrival there was a dog in the lobby.
Also, light switch was not working and they offered to have an electrician repair it, but I didn’t want to be inconvenience on my vacation. There was no offer of a new room, lamp or money taken off my bill. As a homeowner, I know a small job can easily become a major issue with time and dust.
