Yugo Explore - Highfield Park

Close to transport. Room was clean with loads of storage space. Fobbed entrance gate to get into the grounds. Helpful staff. Would definitely stay again if visiting Dublin. Good price.

A lovely place to stay. Could do with an extra couple of pillows but apart from that everything was fantastic.

Easy to tramline so getting into the centre was no problem. Staff very friendly and check in and out faultless. Accommodation great with ensuit. Basic room without any hair etc but bed comfortable. Unfortunately won’t stay here again as Very loud guests with student mindset of leaving food out in common rooms, constant banging doors, noise and parties through night. Didn’t sleep either night.

So, this property is a student dorm facility that rents out rooms for the summer season. There was absolutely no disclosure of this important fact on the Orbitz website (and I double checked after we got there). Facilities were clean. Staff was nice (except it was painfully difficult for the morning person to fill and run the hot water for coffee). You do have access to a kitchen. For an older person like me, I need to be mentally prepared for a dorm room facility. I was not so it was quite a surprise when we all arrived. The price of $200 was lower than other Orbitz options but had I know what I was getting, I would have opted for a hotel.
