Breakfast was great, lots of choice plus eggs cooked to order. location was great easy walk into town and to the river so didn't have to use the car.
I can't speak for other rooms at the property but room 8 could do with n easy chair to sit in rather than having to sit on the bed. Also the door could do with replacing as I struggled at times to shut and lock it.

Location very good very quiet. Parking ample within walking distance to the town and plenty of walks around. Deer in the field next door hawks above an owl at night. The coffee and breakfast were really good.
Room a bit basic and needs small attention like a loose bath panel but clean and comfy.

Very clean and a good size bathroom with good shower. Good parking and easy walk into town. Breakfast in the breakfast barn was adequate. Cereal, toast, pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Eggs if requested. It would have been nice to have fresh bread and day old sliced bread.
The room was poorly equipped. One desk but no chair. Socket for kettle and hairdryer was under the desk and very awkward to get at. There was another extension socket by the side of the bed with more sockets but again awkward to get at. Very small screen tv which you couldn’t see very well from the bed.
