We had a lovely stay. Convenient location, communicative host, charming and comfortable home. Would stay again!

Perfect little getaway right in the mountains.

Horrible experience!! The property owner and booking agency did nothing but harass me while I was trying to enjoy my son's birthday with him. Between the calls, texts and emails I wasn't able to enjoy the weekend. When the listing says that the property is monitored, that is an understatement. There was such an invasion of privacy. Everytime someone was in front of the ring camera, the owner would text or evolve (booking agent) would call with questions. We had family surprise us and show up for my son's birthday. The owner was texting me with how many people were there and the booking agent emailed, threatening eviction from our reservation. They made the whole experience a nightmare. As if that wasn't bad enough, we would be talking about things inside of the house and get text messages regarding what we were talking about. The listing states that there are noise sensors, but after what we experienced, I'm convinced that they were listening in on us. In the state of Colorado, only one party needs to know that someone is being recorded and it can be the person recording. That would make what they are doing legal, but not ethical. I value my privacy and ability to have a family getaway, without getting spied on. I've done a ton of VRBO's and similar bookings, but never encountered this kind of invasion. Blackhawk is fun and the actual house is very adorable. We were super bummed that we ended up having to be on high alert the whole time, regretting this rental!!

Awesome property don't hesitate!

We had a great time and great stay at the house and in Black Hawk, we would come again, we highly endorse this home to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

The house is beautifully decorated with lots of amenities. Our host took care to add a lot of detail in the house from robes to a well planned kitchen. The host had a bottle of red wine and some biscottis for us. Very nice touch. The house is walking distance to the casinos. Hiking is a short distance. The host mentioned great places to eat. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Well kept property. Owners were very hospitable and provided information about things to do while in Black Hawk. They respond to any needs very promptly. Nice small porch to sit outside on and enjoy the mountain air. Plenty of parking space. Easy access to anywhere in town. It was a great stay!

This is a lovely home in a very convenient, accessible location with a beautiful, well equipped kitchen, quiet porches for relaxing and comfy beds to rest up in after a long day. It seems our every need was thought of beforehand (soft bathrobes & toiletries, cold water in fridge and even chocolate!) Thank you for being such helpful hosts. Next time I visit the grandkids I'll be back!
