The GetInRome Vaticano apartments are located in a strategic point, a stone's throw from St. Peter's Square and the Vatican, just a few minutes away from Castel S. Angelo and the splendid Spanish Steps. Stain is not absolutely necessary.
The apartments are just a stone's throw from the Ottaviano Metro stop, with which you can reach easily and in a very short time the other important poles of the city. (Colosseum, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, Circus Maximus etc.).

The apartment was lovely in a charming neighborhood- very walkable and close to Metro. Alessandra was very easy to communicate with and actually waited an hour for us to arrive as we were late due to train issues. This was the perfect place for us!! Many thanks

The accommodations were clean and convenient. Everything was good but the mattress needs replaced badly. We tried turning it every way possible to get away from the large indentation but there was no way to get it in a spot where both sides were comfortable.

Alessandra met us and showed us into the apartment. She was very friendly and informative. When we asked about the sheets for the sofa/bed she said it'll cost more to have them delivered. The bathroom and bedroom lacked hooks for hanging.
The location was wonderful. Easy walk to restaurants and the cab station.

Alessandra was very kind. Met us at the apartment and took us inside. Showed us everything we needed to know. Gave great recommendations on where to eat and have drinks. The restaurant she recommended was awesome. We tried a few things and they were so good that we went back for a second time.
The apartment is walking distance to the Vatican and the metro is a block away.
The AC works great and the TV has Netflix and YouTube.
The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water but not great water pressure when on hot but this seems to be common in Italy. Our stays (all 4 of them) were similar.
I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone that is planning a trip to Italy.

She was incredibly accommodating when we had to make changes to our reservation and we appreciated this so much! Her home is in a beautiful neighborhood, very walkable and very close to the metro that takes you into the city center. It matched the description perfectly and was very clean! There's a reason Alessandra and her apartment have so many 5 star reviews. We stayed here for 5 days and it was in a beautiful + quiet part of town. If you're looking to have a good night's sleep away from the loudness of the city - definitely check out this property. Alessandra was the best VRBO host I've ever worked with. She was so helpful in not only arranging a driver for us to get to her property from the airport, but she even helped us with booking train tickets, and was very responsive and kind when we had a lot of extra questions during our first time in Rome. This apartment was clean and is very close walking distance to The Vatican. We did not spend a lot of time sitting around since there is so much to explore and do in Rome. This was a great home base for us to come back to and recharge for the next day's adventures. When we return to Rome one day, we'll definitely be looking to work with Alessandra again. Don't hesitate to book this place!

Distance to colesseum, pantheon..,25-35 min walk. If you are planning on using sleep sofa let host know prior to your arrival. I would stay here again for sure!

I have stayed in manyVRBO properties before. I expected the place to be much larger with more storage capability. On the images it looks much bigger. The price is that of a 4 Star property, and I paid over 3000 euros for 2 weeks. I understood that when I booked that the linen and cleaning service would be provided by the property owner along with plenty of towels and places to store luggage. The place is so tiny that if you bring your luggage, you can forget We travel heavy and my husband is a big man. The facility is furnished with modern touches in a tasteful way, however the bedding in the bed room is a feather bed without duvet cover with just a sheet between you and the bedding and the bedding is covered with blood and urine stains. We have images of this and will post those to Google later. The place is very dark, dusty and loud in the morning, so no sleeping in during the week. The host was very accommodating and met me early at 11am because I asked for early check-in. She did not charge me for early check in. The AC keeps turning off even after programming it, and sometimes the internet goes out or gets slow. Upon arrival we received 1 towel & 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel and a tiny tiny soap. When I asked about extra towels and cleaning service she said that is not provided until I check out. She also wanted to charge for extra sheets and bedding for 2 nights when my friend came. 15 nights with 1 towel and no cleaning? Kitchen chairs are plastic & uncomfortable.

Alessandra went above and beyond to make everything work out well. She met us when we were able to arrive. Gave us recommendations in the area. Arranged cars for us when we went to the airport. Area is very close to the Vatican. There are 6 steps to get into the condo. It was perfect and I would definitely recommend.

This property is in a secure building that was very clean and safe. The star of the listing is the location with great shopping and restaurants in close proximity. Alessandra was accommodating and provided all necessary amenities in the apartment. The only con was my daughter complained that the sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but the television in the front room was a smart TV so that helped.

My new bride and I spent 6 days in Rome. We chose this property over hotels because it was affordably-priced and we wanted a true Roman home experience. Alessandra, the property manager was excellent in that she was very communicative and hospitable! (She is very attentive on the VRBO messaging function, but also on Whatsapp!) She was very flexible with us as we figured out the public transit system so that we could check-in with her. She is super-sweet and can communicate very well on English.As for the apartment: we chose this place because it is within walking distance to the Vatican City gates, but far enough to avoid a ton of tourists. There were many local and big businesses around the neighborhood. It is also close to a Metro (Line A) Station, which is extremely helpful in checking out the other parts of Rome. We were told by cab drivers that we were staying in a more local area of Rome, so we are getting a more local flavor of Rome (but that also meant, KNOW A BIT OF ITALIAN!)The apartment itself was very spacious! Italian hotels are known to be quite small so this place felt like an incredible find! It looked remodeled, and has a very modern design to it (especially the bathroom!). The bed was very comfortbaleIt's on the first floor of an apartment building so no worries if you have tons of luggage. The amenities of home were all there, though we didn't cook anything. The only small complaint was that the home Wi-Fi was *slightly* spotty at times, but we were either out or sleeping while in Rome so it didn't affect us too much.Overall, I would DEFINITELY recommend booking this place. My wife and I will definitely be eyeing this place again for our return to Rome in the future

Our visit exceeded even our high expectations after reading all of the amazing reviews! The apartment, the host and the location could not have been faulted, and I can confidently say the experience went above and beyond anywhere else we’ve stayed before.
From the toiletries to the complimentary chocolates and sophisticated room finishes (like the gorgeous painted walls), we were blown away by the level of detail that went into our stay. Alessandra is incredibly welcoming and went to every effort to ensure everything was perfect.
The only downside is that we couldn’t have stayed longer! We really hope to be back in the near future!
