Very unique home with plenty of space for larger groups...but also a good choice for less people. Beautiful, well maintained property that put you right in the middle of the cloud forest. Would definitely recommend and the clincher was the monkeys on the porch in the afternoon...just an awesome experience to hear them running around on the roof of the house, entertaining us through the windows, and interacting with everyone in the family...an experience that everyone in the family will never forget!

The house is situated perfectly to excess all that monteverde has to offer. We were able to walk to the preserve and to the nearest restaurants. The monkey's at the house were highly entertaining and the birding at the house was fantastic.

This is a fun property that even includes your own amphitheater! As a family of 6, everyone had room to both spread out and to hang out together. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, so it was easy to cook our meals. ARRIVAL TIP - Do not trust GPS coordinates on Google Map as a way to arrive, that is not trustworthy in this part of the world. Instead orient yourself to Stellas restaurant. If you find yourself leaving Santa Elena and heading down to San Luis, you are going the wrong way.

Beautiful location and property. Since we were only 2 people most rooms were locked except the main house. Lots of wildlife. Sergio and team were wonderful. Only complaint would be that the team arrived early on our last day to prep for the next guests. Check out eas 10a and they were there before 8a. Would have been nice to have a few hours of quiet, especially since it was our honeymoon. Other than that everything was great.

This well-loved property was clearly created to be an event venue. It has lush tropical growth with monkeys and birds, including one insomniac rooster, where the rooms were very clean. Be warned that there are numerous uneven steps to carry luggage. We were there for only two nights, so we didn't get to use the "custom jacuzzi" or other parts of the property. Jairo met us, showed us the features of the property. One downside is that there is no A/C and no screens on the windows, so some tropical bugs made their way into the rooms at night. Lovely eclectic place to recommend.

What a wonderful stay in monteverde. This property has tons of nature and feels perfect for the cloud forest. The rooms are scattered outside the main living area but this was perfect to give our teenagers their space. We mad a campfire at night to roast brats abs marshmallows. It was very much like camping with nature but staying safe inside. We were recommended the xtreme zip line tour and it was soooo awesome. Teens will never forget the experience. We also did a night tour of St Elena with a guide abs saw tarantula, frogs, birds, lizards, etc. Get to Monteverde cloud forest early to see the Quetzal bird. The park is so quiet and great am hike. My only regret is we could have stayed longer. Be sure to eat at Stella abs walk down the driveway for coffee and bakery in the am. What a perfect stay!

This property is a must ! The property is amazing with lush gardens/trees that attracts the butterflies, hummingbirds, birds and our favorite - monkeys ! The monkeys came around our balcony every morning and every afternoon. There were so much fun to watch and even had one monkey (we called jumper) that would jump on the roof of the balcony for a few minutes each day. The property also has an amphitheater - which my two adult children and 1 teenager daughter took advantage of and entertained us with songs from Hamilton and Hunchback. The property is very close to all activities. Most places picked us up at "Stella's" restaurant which is about a 5 minutes walk from the property. Rafa and Anita made sure that we had everything we needed and helped us book a few adventures including the Santa Marie night hike. There's plenty of space for everyone and the rooms were comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with spices, oil, etc and had all the dishes you could ask for. They even had firewood ready for us. I can't say enough about this place !! The only downside to this property is that this property would not be for someone that is unable to walk up steps. This property does have some steps going up and down but it wasn't a problem for our family. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE !! My favorite property in Costa Rica !!
