Great location, lovely rooms, staff welcoming, clean and tidy

Gastropub food was disappointing, ceasar salad was good, patatas bravas were oven wedges and a sirachamayo dip!

Very clean and presentable hotel which has some nice modern features. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent, friendly, super helpful and very professional.

Only minor points were things like no usb sockets even in a premium room. Additionally the hotel is a bit far from the main city centre so it’s a freak to get there each evening for food or taking taxis. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby though.

We really love this hotel. Spacious room, clean bathroom with pretty big towels, very nice staff.

We arrived at midnight so no food available at property. I thought the hotel staff could have mentioned some eating options as I was traveling with a child. No big issue

You can hear other people in the room walking, talking and going to the toilet. So, we couldn't sleep properly. Even when we changed the rooms, it didn't helped. Also, when you arrive, they tell you that the parking will cost 10Euros. They dont say that in the description. Moreover, the breakfast and the quality of the coffee is terrible. For the 4 star Hotel its really bad. In the rooms, they dont provide slippers, and bathrobes. For the Hotel with a 4 star rating is the must have option.

The hotel is 10min walk from the central station and situated in a non-central area. There is a busy road in front of the hotel - but the backside is very quiet. The personell was kind and helpful. The Wifi is excellent. The room and bathroom were up to my expectations I had for a Melia hotel. The hotel is just 1 minute away from a large park!

The restaurant was only ok (based on 1x dinner). Had hoped for a more exciting experience. There are not too many alternatives around - but all of them were better. However, this is „complaining“ on a very high level.

We took the half bord deal. The dinner served was very poor and not becoming a 4 star hotel. Poor choice of menu and dishes served were not very good.

We had a wonderful time at Santiago Plaza. The rooms were clean and very comfortable but the best part was the amazing service from the personnel at the front desk. They were so kind that they let us store our luggage with them so we could travel lighter while we were on The Camino. It was a tremendous advantage and benefit

I was locked in the gents toilet for 15 minutes because the lights automatically switched off and I couldn't get out. It was very frightening but I got little sympathy or help from the staff and management.

Didn’t have breakfast, the price of the room could have included a small breakfast! The room was lovely, bathroom lovely. Air conditioning needs looking at, was so loud, thought it was going to fall apart.

Frosty reception from staff on arrival, after a long journey and having to walk further than the 500mtrs from the station, I expected better. Maybe they didn’t like the way we were dressed?! Seemed to soften when my husband started speaking in Spanish. Not a good end to a momentous trip.
