Emerald Hotel Residence Cefalù

Large, nice rooms, great view, Jacuzzi, decent breakfast and friendly staff

Beautiful property with enchanting views. The management staff are in need of knowing more about the hospitality industry.

We used the same towels for five days. The shower doors didn’t keep the water and it spilled onto the tiles on the bathroom. Also the shower floor was very slippery and good present a problem for elderly guests. When I asked for a non slip mat I was told I can buy my own,

מתחם דירות חדש ונקי כ- 10 דקות נסיעה לצ'פאלו. דירה מאד מאובזרת אך ללא מכונת כביסה ומדיח כלים. נוף מדהים של הים מגג המלון בו יש 2 מתקני ג'אקוזי. יש גם בריכה קטנה במלון וחניה חופשית מחוץ למלון. מיקום שקט.

ארוחת הבוקר. הגענו באחת הפעמים רק כחצי שעה לאחר הפתיחה וכבר היה חסר חלק גדול מהמאכלים. ולקח זמן עד שהכינו עוד. מגוון מאד קטן של מוצרים.

The staff is very helpful. The ocean views are spectacular. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is adequate. Mattresses are good. The bathroom, especially the shower, was top notch.

It’s misleading to call the hotel beachfront. You need to hike down 145 steps and on old road. The beach is rocky. There are no beach facilities. We drove into town and paid to use a beach club. If you have any mobility issues you will not like this hotel. Our room was not served by an elevator and we carried our luggage up and down two flights. The outdoor spaces are lovely but usually smoke filled. When we asked about the extensive cigarette smoking we were told people can do what they want outside. Even when the smoke was coming directly into our room.
