Hotel & Riad Veridis

The riad is beautiful, well kept and matches the photos exactly. We were a group of three women and booked the family room which included the beautiful balcony overlooking the courtyard. Abi met us from the taxi that he kindly arranged and guided us to the riad which is only minutes walk from the main square. The breakfast each morning was delicious and we had fresh towels each day when we returned. It also has good air conditioning! This is a gorgeous traditional riad with all the modern conveniences

The breakfast was lovely. The area where you eat was very nice too. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. There was shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste and toothbrushes and proper ones aswell!!! Extra marks for that. Only stayed one night. Following offline google maps downloaded prior to travel made it very easy to find. Super quiet. There is a roof terrace but it doesn't look like it is in use for guests although we were permitted to have a look there was no view.

The room was quite dark, although it was in keeping with the style. There were some mouldy patches on the walls, I mean it's the Medina and it's an old property but a little extra effort could be made to do something about it, maybe a lick of paint. Be prepared to pay more for a better experience elsewhere if you want a pretty riad.
