It was clean, colourful and spacious. Our room faced into the back garden, so it provided us with some much needed peace away from the busy, noisy main streets of Camden, but was close enough to walk to the shops, restaurants & cinema. Having a fridge in the room helped us keep hydrated during the heatwave and we were also grateful for the fan!

Everything was grand. The hallway and stairs are a little tired and bathrooms basic but clean

Close to Metro and Bus Station, lots of good food options, supermarkets near it. The bed was comfortable, I generally liked the room.

Refrigorator is very noisy, walls hear through so make sure to bring earplugs. The window shade did do almost nothing, I had a sleeping mask so that was okay. One bathroom was tiny, and the toilet had lots of urinary calculus in it. The other bathroom had mold in it, but was more spacious. The bathroom had virtually no storage or surface space apart from the small sink. One of the taps kept dripping and could only be turned off completely with a lot of force and effort. The shower drain was also a problem. At times, the water accumulated to almost ankle height because it drained very slowly. There is no elevator, and the stairway is quite narrow. This was fine for me personally, but it could be worth knowing in advance if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues.
