The location and the pools are amazing.
Unfortunately our whole stay was impacted by Hurricane Simon. We never got to see the beach. Many of the restaurants were closed so we never experienced anything except the buffet (which was good but not great). We would love the opportunity to experience the full Riu Vallarta and maybe the resort should be offering some small compensation or a free experience but I do understand the hurricane was not in their control. Also maybe install cyclone shutters or screens so we don't have to put our mattresses against the windows and sleep on the floor.

La variedad de oferta culinaria dentro del hotel fue muy buena. Las instalaciones muy cuidadas, el personal super amable todo el tiempo. Es un ambiente de mucha relajación. Y apto para vacacionar en pareja y en familia.
El desayuno es un poco repetitivo, pero es bueno.

Location pools staff
Due to the incident on Feb 23 the hotel was at reduced capacity so restaurants and menu options were very limited staff was cut short so line ups at the bars even with only 42 percent capacity
