As a solo traveller this place exceeded my expectations. The room was very cozy, bathroom very chic and practical and the location was amazing. It’s right at the start of the older cobblestoned dimly lit area and coming home after dinner was really a treat walking the streets.

My stay in Kyoto was made unforgettable by this beautiful hotel, which perfectly blended traditional Japanese charm with modern comfort. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt good and refined, offering a welcome escape from the busy streets of the city.
The location was ideal close to many of Kyoto’s most famous attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel quiet and relaxing. After long days of sightseeing, returning to such a peaceful environment was a real luxury.
Overall, this hotel captures the essence of Kyoto: elegant, tranquil, and deeply rooted in tradition. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing stay in one of Japan’s most historic cities.

Beautiful new property right in the heart of Gion. Next door to 7 eleven. The side streets are beautiful wooden traditional buildings. A few minutes walk to the station. Perfect location just out of the busy loud area of Kyoto. I used the washing machine and dryer and the front desk staff took it out for me when it was finished. Front desk staff were excellent. They cleaned the room and even cleared the used coffee pods in the machine. Very comfortable bed. Simple breakfast of croissant juice/percolated coffee on offer at breakfast at reception. I would 100% recommend this property
