The moment you walk in you know you're in Paradise. From the first Hello to the last Good Bye - WOW what a place. Look out for George and Vasso in the main restaurant, you will fall in love with them both. Watch out for Marina and her Team at the Beach Bar - their service skills are out of this World. And do NOT forget the night experience and daily Healthy Experience of the Amoria Restaurant - brilliant omelettes and amazing evening dining experience. There is not enough space here to describe how brilliant this place is because everyday is an experience even if you don't want it to be. The warmth, kindness and excessive Customer Sevice here is impeccable. We have travelled the World and stayed in expensive Hotels but, NOTHING beats this one
We hated having to leave!

An absolute dream of a hotel. The staff people were so friendly, the beach is divine (and wifi-accessible!), the food is delicious, everything about the hotel is Instagrammable and beautiful. It’s also right in the middle of Ammoudara, so you can just step outside the door and do some shopping or wandering around. And there are cute cats wandering around, especially by the feeding station maintained by the hotel.

Very good check-in, great service in reception and by the staff who take your luggage to the room. The staff everywhere really cares about you. Great dinner and breakfast. A bit busy in the main restaurant as there is half board system. Eleni from Beach bar is just the best! Superiour double room had beautiful decoration. Comfortable bed and decent bathroom door for more privacy (as the tendency in new hotels is to have some sort of glass doors, I liked the bathroom in this hotel very much). You can park your car just in front of the hotel to take luggage out and then take your car approximatelt 100 m away to big free car parking lot. It was very convenient!
Superior double rooms just before the beach bar, if you enter the hotel premises last building on left (rooms 8101-8103), behind the hotel fence a family is living who have chickens and roosters and I could not properly sleep because the roosters started to yell from 3AM. Hotel could do something with the hotel room doors on that side. Make more soundproof. I could not imagine sleeping on first floor in more expensive rooms (pool access) and could not get good sleep.

right on the beach, delicious food, beautiful pools and within walking distance of souvenir shops and other hotels
our room smelled like smoke

The layout of the hotel is exceptionally well done and it has a very chilled vibe to it. The hotel was busy but there are so many places to sunbathe and swim that it didn't feel overcrowded and stressful. The hotel lighting at night makes the different areas look really nice. The room was clean and had everything you would need in it. The room we stayed in was quiet at night. It was full of light and we had a window in the bathroom and sliding balcony doors. There are blackout curtains in the room. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food in the a la carte restaurant was great with a good selection of wines. We enjoyed the entertainment in the bar in the evening.
We were in room 5206 and the bathroom area was a little small but was well laid out. The shower leaked into the main part of the room through the glass partition which is easily fixed with new sealant.

Staff were nice facility looked clean
The hotel is located right next to a concert venue that plays vulger and degrading music till midnight. Which make the rooms shake and vibrant. The beach is not pleasant. Murky water with lots of sargassum. Also facility is right next to a factory with smoking stacks. You have to rent chair with umbrella to be on the beach everyday not included with your stay. The half board food option doesn't include nonalcoholic or alcoholic drinks. They will not even give you water with meal. They actually go as far as to remove your cups if you dont order a drink so you dont bring outside water. When you order a water or cappuccino it will cost you over 7 euros. ALOT OF EXTRA CHARGES. Surrounding area looks old and rough. There was no parking on facility hotel directed you to park in empty lot behind a park couple blocks away. Which didn't seem safe. Rooms were so small. Smallest twin size beds look like toddler beds. The door to our room was a sliding glass door that never worked properly.
When we did complain about the noise they changed our room downgrading us to a smoking room with one bed and an AC that didn't work but still were going to charged original room price which was more since we rented a room with private swallow pool.

+ Food, food, food! Also a lot of vegan options, both for breakfast and dinner.
+ Staff, very friendly, like everyone in Crete.
+ Access to a small beach.
+ Clean.
+ Very comfortable bed.
+ One of the best pillows I had in hotels.
- Paper thin walls. Could hear the neighbours kissing (that thin...).
- People would "book" sun beds at the beach by putting the towels... Shouldn't be allowed. We never went again to the hotel beach, we find it ridiculous to be forced to wake up early during vacation just to get a sun bed.
- It felt like a German hotel. I'm not sure how is it possible but we had a feeling 98% of people were German.
- It seems to be a hotel for couples (maybe just an impression).
- Privacy, the way the hotel is build - everyone can look into the window or balcony of another one or see people sitting at their private pools.
- Noise from the street.
- Location - we stayed there only 3 nights and moved towards villages near Chania and it was much better. I would even prefer to get a hotel in Heraklion (10 min drive from this hotel) - more things to do and super friendly Greek people there. The hotel location is on ugly touristic street and not far away from an industrial part of the island (also ugly). You have to drive a bit to see a nice areas of the island (if you don't mind then the hotel is fine).
- They tried with the evening entertainment, but the guests looked absent.
Overall, a good hotel if you want to eat great breakfast and dinner, stay at the beach or at the pool all day long and then go to sleep at 10 pm (with the earplugs) and don't mind hearing mostly German:) People working in the hotel are great and the kitchen staff should be complimented for their work. For the rest - it depends what are you looking for when on vacation.

Nothing in particular.

The swimming pools and the private beach were great!
The food was average, the bathroom is very small and needs refreshing.

The beach and beach bar, the food (both breakfast and dinner are great, especially the breakfast at the beach with healthy options and the variety at the buffet), the rooms with pool access are really peaceful and relaxing
Although there is a no reservation policy for sunbeds at beach and pools, all the sunbeds are "reserved" with towels already before 10am, especially at the beach. Therefore it is really worth it to book a room with pool access.

The hospitality was beyond excellence and the food in both restaurants was amazingly delicious. Each staff member is extraordinary friendly and catering to the individual needs of the customers. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend it to family and friends.
The location of the hotel is on a very touristic street and the beach part is not as beautiful compared to other locations due to an industry plant at the end of the beach and it contains mostly of gravel the closer you go to the water instead of sand.
It’s not the hotel‘s fault because the beach area of the hotel is arranged very comfortably. However, I wanted it to mention for ppl who expect to see the perfect beach there.

Had a premium waterside room but we could use it one afternoon as the black water truck used this location, the smell was awful.
Even though they had a No Toweling" policy guest would go down the beach and pool before breakfast as place their towels on the various sun beds. if they have the policy they should enforce it!!!!
as above

Pool, beach, restaurants, staff
Room that was shown on image was not the room we got. The room we got was way smaller and had beanbags instead of a sunbed outside. Also way smaller private pool. We immediately pointed this out and they provided us with the actual room shown on the picture the next day. This room was bigger, had a bigger bathroom, more privacy, bigger pool and sunbeds instead of beanbags. This was much better. I though it was weird they provided us a worser room, for the same price, when the second room was obviously more value for money. It is fine to have different rooms, but when there are such big differences between the rooms it would be better to charge different prices and actually get what you pay for.

We were in one of the swim up rooms right next to a big pool which was very quiet and relaxing. We had our own two person sunbed where we could chill all day. The property is very big and consists of multiple buildings surrounded tied together by garden patches. The staff takes all the corona measures very serious and was always kind. Both the breakfast and dinner buffet had a broad selection: fresh fruit, pastries, vegetables, meats and salads. Overall it's the perfect stay to lay low and soak up the sun.
Though this has nothing to with this hotel; the hotel next door had loud music playing until after midnight during the days we were there (in the weekend). We were pretty far away but still heard it clearly.
Sometimes the bathroom/shower smelled a bit funky, maybe some plumbing issues at that time.

The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly!! The Pool facilities were amazing and we loved to have all the cats around

- atmosphere: great and welcoming staff. Enough space for everyone on the beach and pools. Nice playlist but could use a refresher.
- food: nice variety of food in the buffet for both breakfast and dinner. Could use an espresso machine rather than filter coffee. More fresh produce would be appreciated.
- location: nice and well managed beach, easy to reach and close to Heraklion. Village is nice and peaceful
- furniture: the design is nice but some of the furniture should be renewed or cleaned. (Eg. dining tables are scoffed, marks on the “lazy bags” in the beach bar and pool beds around the pools)
- room: due to last minute booking, room was a bit small for two people with little space for luggage. The dresser needs more shelves.

The fresh water pool was excellent.
