Fantastic property, great location and incredible views. Walkable to great restaurants and the beach. Host was very friendly and accessible. Fairly quiet except a few nights people at the pool were loud but only until 10pm, I had to get up early for work…. The master bedroom could use some blackout curtains if you need it dark as the lights shine in is about the only improvement I could suggest.I would highly recommend the property.

Very relaxing. Our host went out of his way to make us comfortable. He also did unexpected things like he bought me some frozen fishing bait and fishing equipment when he found out I wanted to use his gear to go fishing off the pier. One thing that was outstanding was that the place is located where you could hear the trains but not very loud. There is a train track that runs the length of San Clemente close to the water. Train go by every 3045 minutes blowing their horns. I would not want to stay right down by the beach to hear this constant noise. I will definitely rent this place in the future.

We had a great stay at the Surf Shack. Arrival instructions were detailed and easy to follow. The condo had everything we needed. We felt at home. Location is perfect with the pier & beach just a walk down the hill,and a trolley stop steps away from the exit of the building.The host is very responsive and helpful. I'll miss having my coffee on the balcony overlooking the pier..
