There are places that welcome us. And then, there are places that captivate us.

Discover Ivy Cottage through Homie.

Completely surrounded by nature and located on the north coast of Madeira, this house is a true retreat for those wishing to escape the daily hustle and bustle. Set in an idyllic setting, surrounded by primordial forest, Ivy Cottage offers numerous opportunities to enjoy nature, from walks and levadas to picnic areas, trails and viewpoints that reveal the raw beauty of the island.

Inside, the accommodation has two double bedrooms and an additional room capable of accommodating up to four people, guaranteeing space and comfort for families or groups of friends.

On the ground floor, the living room and kitchen in an open space invite socialisation, creating a welcoming environment for moments of sharing and relaxation.

The exterior is equally charming: a fully equipped barbecue and a magnificent view over the valley make any outdoor meal unforgettable.

The location of the accommodation allows you to feel like a true local resident. Nearby, the Old Bridge, one of the oldest and most romantic bridges in Madeira, and viewpoints such as the Encontro Viewpoint or the Cabouco Viewpoint invite memorable discoveries. A few minutes' drive away is the heart of the Laurissilva Forest, with famous trails such as Os Balcões, Portela and Chão das Feiteiras.

The Casa da Fajã Grande continues to be located near emblematic places such as Faial de Santana, with its typical Madeiran houses, local gastronomy and tranquil atmosphere, or Porto da Cruz, known for its beaches and vibrant energy that attracts surfers and visitors.

More than simple accommodation, Ivy Cottage by Homie is an invitation to immerse yourself in nature, breathe the pure air of Madeira and experience moments of true serenity.

Guests are responsible for the proper use of the accommodation and its respective equipment. Damage, loss or misuse identified during or after the stay may be subject to the application of a damage fee, intended to cover repair, replacement or extraordinary cleaning costs.

Since 2017, we have been welcoming travellers from all over the world to our beloved Madeira Island, with a commitment to providing memorable experiences and excellent service.

We started as Madeira Sun Travel, a name that reflected the sun, comfort and welcoming spirit that has always guided us.

Over time, we realised that we wanted to go further: more closeness, more authenticity, more connection.

That's how Homie was born. More than a new name - a new way of being. Every stay is thought through in detail to be special and welcoming.

Each house has its own story. And each guest is welcomed as an old friend.

Beyond comfort and hospitality, we also provide, upon request, additional services such as car rental, activity booking, personalised experiences and much more - all so you can enjoy Madeira to the fullest.

Be a traveller looking for a special place or a property owner looking for someone to care for your home with dedication, you are in the right place.
