Hidden Haven

Tucked away on a quiet street just a short walk from downtown Saugatuck, Hidden Haven offers the rare combination of peaceful seclusion and easy access to town. From the moment you arrive, this charming property feels like a secret escape—one where every outdoor space invites you to slow down and savor the moment.

The fenced-in yard is a true highlight, thoughtfully landscaped and accented with whimsical custom artwork, flowering vines, and soft fairy lights that glow as evening falls. It feels like a private garden sanctuary, perfect for relaxing, reconnecting, and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.

A standout feature of the property is the detached screened-in porch, a 200-square-foot retreat designed for lingering. With a large dining table, comfortable lounge seating, and a ceiling fan, this space is ideal for morning coffee, card games, shared meals, or curling up with a book while listening to the breeze—rain or shine.

The spacious back patio is equally inviting, offering Adirondack-style chairs, a small dining table with a patio umbrella, and a grill for casual afternoon barbecues. Around the corner, the hot tub deck provides yet another place to unwind. Sink into the warm water after a day of exploring, then relax in the surrounding seating area or enjoy the quiet of the small adjoining yard.

Inside, Hidden Haven continues to impress with an open, thoughtfully designed layout and quality finishes throughout. The living room features comfortable leather seating, a Smart TV for streaming, and sliders that open directly to the patio, blending indoor and outdoor living. The kitchen is well-equipped for meals at home, with granite countertops, a custom tile backsplash, and breakfast bar seating for three.

Sleeping accommodations are well planned for comfort and privacy. Two queen bedrooms on the south end of the home offer peaceful retreats, each with closet space and luggage racks. The third bedroom on the north end features a pyramid bunk, an ensuite half bathroom, and laundry. A full bathroom with a custom tile walk-in shower is also conveniently located on this side of the home.

When you're ready to explore, downtown Saugatuck is less than half a mile away. Walk to local favorites for dining, cocktails, coffee, ice cream, shopping, and art galleries, or visit the Saugatuck Center for the Arts for exhibits and live performances. Lake Michigan's renowned beaches—including Oval Beach, Saugatuck Dunes State Park, and Pier Cove—are all just a short drive away, offering sandy shores, hiking trails, and unforgettable sunsets.

Whether you spend your days soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the magical outdoor spaces, strolling into town, or heading to the beach, Hidden Haven offers a warm, inviting home base for experiencing the very best of Saugatuck Douglas.
