Tonkin Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa

Absolutely great place to enjoy Hanoi. Very clean, great breakfast (though coffee could taste better;)). Fantastic and helpful staff especially William and Sophia. I actually think that the location is way better than chaotic and noisy centre, and the nearby lake with an island full of restaurants ts and cafes makes it very charming and attractive while the noisy centre is still reachable within a walking distance

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! The service was truly outstanding the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire visit. They went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and organized all of our onward transfer travel seamlessly, making our trip completely hassle-free. The rooms are beautifully designed with great style and attention to detail, making the atmosphere super comfortable. Breakfast was top-notch, with delicious options to start every day off right. To top it all off, the hotel pool with its breathtaking view was the absolute cherry on top. I couldn't recommend this place more and would love to stay here again.

This hotel is stunning, the rooms were immaculate and high quality. The location was brilliant, we really thought this was a beautiful boutique hotel.

The bar closed at 10pm and there was an issue with the pool whilst we were there, which we dealt with management directly on, however it was still a disappointing encounter and hopefully won't be one that's repeated and it was rather pricey compared to other places we stayed.

Rooms are beautiful and very comfortable Breakfast buffet is excellent Lokated in a quiet street and good area, close to the lake

Staff was not well trained. Every question we had was answered with „I need to ask my Manager“. However the Manager obviously never answered and therefore no one came ever back to us with any Info. As in every 5 star hotel we were provided with synthetic inexpensive slippers. Usually they are thrown away after they are used and took them with us. Upon departure our lagguage was stored in the car as our driver was already there. After paying my invoice and already outside in front of the car, the receptionist and a colleague followed us to the car asking if we had taken the slippers out of the room and requested to give them back. My question to why as they were used was answered that they will be reused. The idea especially for a 5 Star hotel is revolting. Felt like criminals when having to open our bags to hand out the slippers on open street in front of (by than) 3 staff members and our driver. Given the price we paid, the attitude as well as hotel policy are more than questionable.
