I loved the location. Unfortunately we did not have the chance to drink a pint in the Jolly Gardeners, but we did visit The Black Dog near y (less than 10 minute walk). The room was impeccably tidy, and the private bathroom was incredible (as a Brazilian, I did choose the location primarily due to the private bathroom).
If I have tô nitpick something, I'd say that the noise isolation from the rooms could be a little better, but the room itself is very silent.

They had everything you could possibly need. So clean and spacious. There is a pub downstairs downstairs that can be loud but cannot hear it past 9pm! And honestly looked like a good time

Room was very spacious with very large windows and lots of light. Location is great and the pub downstairs is fabulous.
There's no reception or staff onsite and it felt more like an AirBnB than a hotel. The room was warm and had lot's of noise from the street. They provide a fan, earplugs and a white noise generator to block the noise. The latter didn't work as the adapter was missing. The duvet was incredibly thick for the time of year. Instead of sending tons of e-mails on how to use the fan in the room etc. they could better renovate and install windows with proper insulation.
