The location is great close to shops and restaurants. Walking distance to most attractions. being next door to Eataly was bonus!

Hotel is old, and looks dirty. Bed sheets and towels are old and uncountable. Old windows that do not block noise from the streets. Only 1 elevator works so sometimes it took over 15-20 min wait. We had to use the service exit stairs multiple time. Breakfast was disgusting.

I arrived late and was told “we considered you a no-show so we charged you and sold your room (again) to someone else. WTF? After a long travel day I had to fight for an hour to get them to give me a room. They downgraded me, charged me for all of the nights, and then claimed it was an upgrade. The staff were anything but helpful. The young woman at the desk could care less that they sold my room to someone else

Zimmer ist nicht klein.

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber. Im Eßbereich war nicht gesaugt. Alles war irgendwie wenig bis garnicht geputzt. Das ganze Hotel wirkt schon stark in die Jahre gekommen. Also eher 2 wie 3 Sterne. Und der Preis war hoch - das lag ggf. an einer Messe und insofern ok. Das Frühstück war ziemlich ärmlich.

Every encounter I had with staff was great. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful. At breakfast, the staff swept in to take your used dishware so you didn't have to lift a finger to clean up and chatted with everyone even when it was super busy.

Our room was pretty run down and much smaller than in the pictures. In general, the hotel seems pretty beaten up and could use a serious refresh. For example, the door to the room didn't latch tightly and would rattle when the room across the hall would open and close their doors. The big issue was that during our stay, one of the elevators was out of service for its annual maintenance, leaving only one elevator operational. I admit that I've rolled my eyes in the past when I've seen reviewers complain about wait times for elevators in some hotel listings, but now that I've experienced it, I won't ignore those complaints! There were long waits and passive aggressive comments when you squeezed into the packed elevator when it finally came. Sometimes the elevator would pass without stopping and you had to push the button again to call it. The staff tried to help out at busy times by taking people to a freight elevator on the other side but it wasn't consistent. This was partly just bad luck that our visit happened to be when they were doing maintenance but it would have been nice if they compensated for this issue in some way.

Quarto enorme e muito bem equipado. Todos funcionários são muito educados, principalmente o rapaz que trabalha no café da manhã. Piscina aquecida para os dias frios de Chicago é maravilhoso. Meus interesses eram do outro lado do rio, mas é bem localizado e da pra ir a pé para as atrações de Chicago.

My 16 year old son and I did a Spring Break trip to Chicago without my husband, which made me a little nervous. However, the hotel was in an AMAZING location and just steps away from a subway station that we used often during our stay. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The close proximity to Michigan Avenue (aka, Magnificent Mile) and Navy Pier was perfect. My son and I loved the location and felt COMPLETELY safe traveling on our own!! I also can't rave enough about Jeremy. He was so knowledgeable of the area and so helpful and full of tips of things to do and how to get there! They have a Wednesday night social with free wine, beer, cheese and crackers. Free breakfast that we never took advantage of. :(

The ONLY bad part wad waiting on an elevator at times because they were doing maintenance. However, they had clearly posted that the elevator was being worked on and they apologized for any inconvenience. Maintenance HAS to be done, and we understand that!

The staff (Jeremy ..makes breakfasts and insists we take food to our room. Made a great Wed. dinner for all guests.) The Herculean effort made by all staff to overcome temporary closure of one elevator.....SO IMPRESSED. so many families staying...wonderful atmosphere.

We stayed in early April....It was cold some days...very cold....could the hotel look into that LOL

breakfast- didn't eat but looked good location- wonderful location close to everything room- room was fine and what I expect for a hotel like this. I do wish there was the ability to use my own streaming services on the tv in the room.

The biggest issue was the wait for the elevator.

Breakfast was a huge plus for us! All staff, breakfast area, check-in desk and valet were friendly and helpful!

Elevators were slow at times

Fantastic location. Continental breakfast was varied and tasty, and the hours worked well. We liked the pool and the pool hours were awesome! Friendly, attentive staff.

The king bed was okay - fairly comfortable. The hideaway mattress in the living area was awful. My daughter had to sleep on the couch instead.

Well that the front desk people tried. But even with everything they did. The fact that they never discounted my bill like they said they were going to. Letter going to corporate.

Breakfast was absolute disaster. More people than there is room to seat people. Our first room the shower leaked so bad that there was a pond in the kitchen. You could see the black mold on the base of the drywall in the kitchen. I have been in construction for 35 years. I know that that drywall was so covered in mold inside the wall cavity. That I am surprised that people have not been getting sick. Peeling paint on the ceilings in the bathrooms of both rooms. STAY SOME PLACE ELSE.

The location was great, very close to everything we wanted to do in the area. The parking attendants/valet staff in the lower lobby were friendly and helpful. The desk staff in the main lobby were amazing and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic. It was a good variety and was kept well stocked. It was very busy in the morning, but the staff worked very hard keeping the area clean, clearing dishes and cleaning tables for the next people. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool area was nice, as well as the workout area. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

I wish there were more options for elevators, there was no stair access from street level to the hotel and the wait was long. But I understand that's out of the control of the hotel. Our room was OK, but the hall way and other rooms were very warm and we were told the heat was still on and could not be turned off.

La ubicación y la comodidad del departamento.

La falta de limpieza. El desayunador no daba abasto había mucha gente. El desayuno no era variado. Teniendo departamento es preferible no tenerlo incluido.

Lovely suite and good breakfast and convenient location.

Elevators were a slight issue with longer waits in the mornings. Also no safe box and no hand soap or dish soap in the kitchen.

Great location. Very friendly staff. The front desk staff texted me during my stay to ask about our room and if we needed anything. When we needed things like extra pillows and towels, they dropped those off quickly. The free breakfast was a nice perk and there were many options. It does get VERY busy during breakfast, but that is to be expected since most hotels in the city don't offer a free breakfast. The pool is quite large for an indoor pool in downtown Chicago. I liked that our room had a little kitchen and a separate sitting area with a couch. The location is close to Michigan Avenue and lots of shopping and restaurants. There's a Starbucks right across the street! They also have a nice indoor gym if you like to work out when you travel.

Our room wasn't ready at 4:00pm so we didn't get to check in until almost 5:00pm. That was a bummer, but the manager on staff told us to take some snacks from the 6th floor for free, which was nice. Also, the water in the pool was VERY cold. We specifically chose a hotel with a pool for our young daughter, but the water was so cold that it was hard to enjoy swimming. I think they could invest in a heater for the pool. The couch in our room was very uncomfortable with every thin cushions, and the sofa bed was pretty bad. Very thin mattress on the sofa bed and you could feel the springs. I wish they offered more rooms with two Queen beds for families with kids.

Location was outstanding, centrally placed for everything in Chicago's downtown area. Breakfast options were good, especially the city view at breakfast. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, equipped with aircon, TVs, a big bathroom and kitchen.

Elevators and room door keys were constantly not working and had to be taken back to the front desk to be re-activated and the elevators has noticeably broken buttons, making it difficult to get to our room

Great location. Clean. Fair price. Especially since it includes a full breakfast.

Not sure if our room was directly above the kitchen exhaust system or, the prior guest had cooked so much in the unit that it reeked of food/onion smells. I asked for a plug in air freshener. I was given a bottle of Febreze. Didn't help much. The other option was to have a maintenance staff person dry powder & sweep the carpet. We checked in late at night & were too tired to go that route or request a room change :/

I loved the view. I was right under the top floor in the corner king suite. The view was beautiful during the day and during the night. We could walk to most things.

The staff was kind and accommodating! Arrived early and was able to check in!! We had some time between check out and train time and they stored our bags for us! Location was amazing and walking distance to all the downtown St.Patricks day festivities! Breakfast was delicious and had many different options!! We didn’t use the pool but went and looked at it and it looked very cool with views!

breakfast was ok, staff was always very polite and attentive and location was perfect, walking distance from many attractions in Chicago and also close to the metro.

Everything was great, the pool was clean, the sheets were clean, there was little to no noise, and there was a helicopter putting an air conditioner on a roof across the street :).

Elevator noise beeping seemed to annoy attendants and other guests and ourselves. The key cards didnt work right away but eventually they did.

Great location, friendly staff. Full fridge, stove and microwave in rooms.

Our room was HOT. We called down to the desk and they told us to turn off the thermostat and crack the windows, which we did. But it was still hot to the point where we all slept in our undies. Breakfast area ( 6th floor) was very warm too.
