The beds are amazing

The location was great for shopping and food joints. Good area and felt safe. The rooms are spacious. Comfortable bed. The pool was a nice addition. The front counter staff had good food recommendations. You are able to leave your bags with the hotel while you explore Vancouver before check in and after check out.

We arrived 30 minutes after check in and were advised our room still wasn’t ready. The front counter staff advised us that they could provide us with a later check out time which was better suited for us. In our bedroom there was a tissue stuck to the sheets of the bed, it looked like it had been washed that way.

In our opinion, Blue Horizon Hotel is the best located and value for money inner city hotel that we have ever stayed in. The location in Robson St provides everything you will need on your doorstep - cafes, restaurants, shops. A very safe and vibrant precinct, it is also a short walk to Coal Harbour, Canada Place and Stanley Park. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spacious and clean and had many little touches that made us feel right at home. We had a corner room which had an amazing view of downtown Vancouver and it even had a balcony which enabled us to have fresh air. An overall outstanding experience.

There is nothing we didn't like!

I liked the location and how clean it was. Also loved our view. We didn’t interact with this staff all that much, but they were professional.

The final rate had a lot of extra costs that I did not plan for. That may be more of an issue with Booking.com than the hotel. The air system they use to cool the room is very loud in the walls are pretty thin. Not a great spot for light sleepers.
