Friendly staff, the wine happy hour was good, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable

The breakfast wasn’t breakfast, it was token sugary cakes (not pastries). You only got a room service if you asked for it but no one told us this. It claims to be a 4 star hotel but it’s definitely not

Location and facilities are great!!! I will repeat next stay.

Everything about my stay at this hotel was good, except for the breakfast. The location is central, close to everything. The room was comfortable and very quiet, and the bathroom was spacious.

The only issue was the breakfast. It only offered coffee, fruits like bananas, mandarins, and orange juice, and sweet pastries all the time. It is an unhealthy breakfast for someone like me with dietary restrictions, and for the price paid, they should provide a decent breakfast.

- Excellent central location, right next to Chinatown and within easy walking distance of Union Square and many other places. - The bed was comfortable, and despite all the other issues, I slept well. - The shower had good water pressure once I figured out how to use it. - I was able to leave my luggage at the hotel until the evening after check-out, which was very convenient.

- The room was extremely hot and stuffy. The AC barely worked even at the lowest temperature and highest setting, and it was placed behind the curtains, so I couldn't properly close them while using it. - No bottled water, kettle, or tea-making facilities. The advertised water station was nowhere to be found, and even filling a bottle from the bathroom tap was difficult because of the tiny sink. - One bedside lamp didn't work. - The TV was very basic and not a Smart TV. - The bathroom fixtures felt old and inconvenient. The sink faucet was stiff and dripped unless positioned exactly right, and the shower controls were awkward to use. - The bathroom light automatically switched off after a few minutes, even while I was showering, so I had to get out wet to turn it back on. - Soundproofing was terrible. I could clearly hear conversations and footsteps in the hallway. - Breakfast was extremely disappointing: basically a banana, one pastry, and tea or coffee in paper cups. I booked breakfast specifically to eat at the hotel, so being told to go to a nearby café with a 10% discount was not helpful. - No regular on-site parking. Valet parking was expensive, but after arriving late with luggage, the alternative of using a separate garage and walking back was very inconvenient. Overall, there were just too many small inconveniences and poorly maintained details for a hotel in this price range, especially one advertised as a 4-star hotel.
