The location is great and the facility is clean. I liked the coffee/tea in the lobby in the mornings.
I'm frustrated with the resort fees hotels are charging these days. They are expensive and it is never really clear what's included (like gratuities). They mention water bottles in the room, which were there when we checked in, but never replaced during our stay.
The building is in a state of minor, gentle decline. For instance, the pleather headboard had large holes. That said, it was clean and I felt like I got what I paid for.

Location great, beds really comfortable. Rooms very clean, swimming pool and fitness room good for hotel
My “city view room” was a disappointing view of building opposite! I stayed when hotel was switching over from royal sonesta to hotel 505, I had no knowledge of this prior to arriving, and it wasn’t well explained when we arrived and as a result it caused some confusion, my friend was staying in another room and got her incidentals held in her card twice, no matter it wasn’t taken - to block £700 on someone’s card is excessive!

The location was great, the room was pretty comfortable, the bed and pillows and sheets were very soft and comfy. Speedy was great, he was a big help with our luggage both arriving and leaving and was super friendly. Also we were accommodated early check in by an hour which we really appreciated because we had to rush to get ready for a black tie wedding that evening.
The room initially was pretty hot. The air had not been turned on until we walked into the room, so it took some time to cool down.

The location was good. Near all the major landmarks.
The hotel staff were friendly.
The entire hotel is outdated. Specially the shabby carpet in the room and the red curtains, also the rooms need a deep clean.. too much dust and fibre made me sneeze.. the hotel rooms look old and classless.
The valet service guy is very rude.
