Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel

Location is great. Heart of Beverly Hills. The hotel is very nice, same as the room. Food at the restaurant was great! Fast and easy check-in and Vallet parking.

We took a Double Room with Two Double Beds. The double beds are not really double. It was a bit tight for 2 adults and 2 children. The room was on a first floor direct to the pool. No privacy as the gym and spa are located at same level so everyone in the gym had a direct view to our room.

Teilweise dreckig, vor allem der Pool, egal zu welcher Zeit man zum Pool geht, ob morgens um 7 oder Abends um 19 Uhr, der Pool ist immer dreckig, mit Servierten auf dem Boden usw. und die Reinigung soll ein Roboter übernehmen, der aber immer am Bodendüsen fest hängt. Zimmerreinigung ist eine Katastrophe, es wird immer alles vergessen oder nicht beachtet. Selbst das unsere Brauseschlauch in der Dusche so undicht war, das kaum noch Wasser aus der Handbrause kommt, musste ich vorführen, da es keiner in diesem Hotel gewohnt ist, so etwas zu sehen.

The hygiene is excellent, and the location is very convenient.

I am an out-of-town guest here for leisure and travel. My check-in experience was comfortable, and the night before my stay, I even mentioned to the front desk that I hadn't been resting well lately and hoped to get some proper rest here. However, at 8:45 a.m. the next morning, housekeeping repeatedly rang the doorbell and shouted, "Housekeeping!" I understand that this is partly because I didn’t turn on the "Do Not Disturb" sign—but the button for "Private" is on the door panel, which is different from the usual hanging signs, so I didn’t realize it the night before. Still, that wasn’t what upset me the most. What really frustrated me was that after dragging my exhausted body to the door and telling them I wanted to rest a little longer before cleaning—while also pressing the "Private" button—an hour later, a card was slipped under my door. It roughly said something like: "We understand you don’t wish to be disturbed right now, but we are here to check on your safety and also have the right to ensure the hotel facilities are not being damaged." I don’t remember the exact wording, but… “check the facilities”? Seriously? At 8:45 a.m., what facilities are you checking? You disturbed me—just own it. Why try to justify it with such excuses? This is supposed to be a leisure-focused resort hotel. Do you really think guests come here to damage the property? I really don’t appreciate this kind of face-saving corporate language.
