The hotel was great--great staff, and the front desk offered me free bottled water because she said the tap water was mineralized and a lot of people didn't like the taste. Check in was great and my overall stay was wonderful.

pre booked a room with a family suite and advised of approximate check in time due to traffic, weather etc . Arrived at check in time given and was given room cards etc with polite member of staff on reception. Went to room and opened door and the room had not been cleaned from previous guests with unmade beds, garbage and towels and sheets everywhere. Returned to reception to be informed there was no other rooms available due to high occupancy, but could call housekeeping in to clean room. Cancelled rooms and requested payment back and sought alternative accommodation.Due to long drive and to arrive at a hotel with pre booked accommodation I was totally disappointed.

In a full occupancy hotel during peak weeks for summer then I am sure there is a housekeeping supervisor who checks to make sure all accommodation has been cleaned and sanitised to hotel standards and prepared for the next guests. I can understand a room being cleaned and basic housekeeping missed like toilet paper or soaps etc but to walk in to a total mess of a room was so disappointing and infuriating due to being exhausted from drive and heat.

I did not have the breakfast in the morning as we had to get on the road early.

The restaurant was closed the day we arrived. But that is more common these days. The restaurant had very good reviews though.

The price was excellent! it was so much more then we expected. Restaurant was right next door. Clean, wonderful staff.
