Superb location with views of the harbour and parklands. Very quiet area yet super close to the city. The rooms were lovely. It is a historic building so may not suit people who don't appreciate old things or who need lots of space and accessibility.
I liked everything about it. Especially the opening windows and the balcony. I know people are supposed to take the lift but I like to take the stairs - these are important for emergency use so these should be kept clear and in good condition and use at all times. It's possible that if you had noisy neighbours that might be a problem, but it was all quiet when I stayed.

Quirky, the history, the location, the balcony had amazing views
Old sash windows wouldn’t stay open, but that is to be expected in an older place. Would have liked option for breakfast. Wasn’t really a reception so you didn’t know who to talk to if you had requests, perhaps a WhatsApp contact would have been good for any questions

Located in Bangaroo, just a few minutes from the metro station which is 3 stops from Central. It is a short walk to the rocks and 20 min walk to the Opera House. Although the room was small, it was fine and had a balcony where you could sit and enjoy the view of the bridge. It is in a historic pub which has a fabulous cocktail lounge on the top floor with great views.
There was a long hair on the pillow.
Only one coat hanger - how measly is that!
The pub/cocktail lounge close at 11pm on a Friday night.

We liked the bed and the pillows. we like the overall feeling of this heritage building.
The roof top bar was excellent but very expensive.
The lighting was terrible. The creaking floor was horrible. We could even hear our neighbours floor creaking above.
