During the evening, the floor (upstairs and down) and stairway were sodden with water, and were slippery to walk on I am claustrophobic and did NOT like the upstairs bedroom suite, which did not have any windows or views. It was very claustrophobic, and when I tried to sleep downstairs on the sofa bed, it was too difficult to pull out. I was very uncomfortable in such a claustrophobic space The beach and ocean fronting the Intercontinental was VERY polluted with PLASTIC. Walking out into the ocean was very unpleasant, with every step you took onto plastic items and plastic frequently floating by you catching on your limbs. I was extremely disappointed to see that Bali's oceans and beaches are littered with plastic everywhere, we found it impossible to get away from plastic, both on walks through the countryside even in remote north-east OR swimming or snorkeling in the ocean.

This is a sprawling resort with huge rooms and a fantastic pool.

Unfortunately, the report is showing its age with the rooms appearing quite dated. My room smelled of damp or mould and there were paint cracks in the bathroom. Poor weather on the day of my arrival meant that the bath water ran brown which was pretty disappointing for a five star resort. This was reported to management and while they were apologetic, they were also relatively ambivalent. It also had to be said that while the resort is on the beach, Jimbaran Beach itself is not particularly dazzling. Lovely sunsets but so much rubbish and pollution. If you want to enjoy the best of Bali, head to Sanur or Uluwatu instead.

Good location

The hotel is old we had room that seemly had not been used for a while the linen had an old mouldy smell. The shower was leaking. The in room beverages where old even sugar had melted as it had been there that long. The manager did resolve the issue with a room change and late check out but it wasn’t a great experience

Well appointed room, very nice bathroom and beautiful view over garden.

Continental breakfast should have more options.

Fantastic resort - great location and so peaceful! Lots to explore within the property and great pool and service! We would definitely like to come back again

I booked for king bedroom, but I got twin bedroom with someone else's name in welcome statement on the television. The toiletries are not byredo like other Intercontinental hotels.
