Friendly staff, good location in Alston, a comfy room, and the food is good
Nothing really at this price - the decor in the room is fairly old school, but it all worked and was comfortable.

Nice staff.
Bit run down. But good value.

Great location on the C2C cycle route. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and provided parking for our bikes (although this was not covered). The rooms were comfortable and the shared shower and toilet facilities were good. They are not currently offering breakfast, but they do offer an excellent evening meal, and we were able to pick up some breakfast from a nearby Co-op. The building is a pub with late opening hours, so it might be worth bringing earplugs, although we were on the second floor, and we could not hear much noise from downstairs.

Great location
I believe renovations are on going but it is in need of work. It didn’t feel very clean.
