Ringwood Hall Hotel & Spa, Best Western Signature Collection

Character

Requires updating decor

I have stayed here multiple times and it is a great place to stay with a dog as the dog-friendly rooms are in a small annex on the ground floor. This means they are really easy to access. Milo liked the dog bed in the room better than his own!!

I went to take Milo for a last walk in the gardens. Unfortunately it was too dark. A few more lights would be useful.

Very friendly and helpful staff

No shower in my bathroom, and the bath was in the bedroom!

The bed was comfortable. Nothing else. Even the tv didn't work.

Not good service or restaurant/bar facilities. For a Friday night stopping orders at 815pm is poor especially when there is no bar food. This is the 3rd time at the hotel and the facilities have gone down hugely. On asking if we could order room service to the bar/lounge area - no we could have it delivered to our room then take it to the bar only. What they had to offer was very limited to 4-5 sandwiches with crisps and salad. I had a sandwich, salad and crisps delivered to my room with no cutlery to eat the salad. The bathroom fan was broken and made a loud banging noise. I spoke to the hotel prior to our stay twice (on email and on the phone) regarding our rooms. I requested/paid for an executive room with double and 2 singles for my husband, myself, 12 year old and dog, plus a twin room for my adult children. On arrival we were given 'an upgrade' to a feature room with a double bed (no singles) in the courtyard (dog friendly) and room with a double bed and z-bed that my husband split into 2 singles, so he could stay with my 12 year old. I slept by myself with the dog. 🤯🫣😬 An absolute shambles. Last time they overbooked a wedding and threw us (a family of 5) into a small room with a double bed whereby 2 children slept on the floor and 1 in the bathtub.
