We just spent four nights at this wonderful little VRBO and couldn’t have been happier! Within an hour of arriving, we saw a toucan and a very active sloth directly in front of our balcony. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating. We booked our tour to Manuel Antonio National Park through our hosts and had an excellent experience with our guide, Felipe. A bonus, especially for my two kids, was saying hi to the hosts’ very friendly dogs and cat each day. The location was great for easily walking to the grocery store and nearby restaurants. We also greatly enjoyed sipping our coffee on the balcony each morning. A wonderful little place in a beautiful country! I highly recommend!

Casa Tabacon is a wonderful location to see the sites of Quepos and explore Manuel Antonio park. The house is lovely and well equipped. The patio with the jungle view is a great place to eat breakfast and end the day. The monkeys came to play in the trees every morning which was a special treat. We look forward to visiting again.

We can’t say enough good things about our experience here! We had our wedding in Manuel Antonio and chose this as our home base. The owners were beyond friendly and approachable, and the stand-alone house we rented included everything we could need and more for over a week long stay. The location was central and made walking everywhere easy, plus we saw monkeys, macaws and more from our windows. Would highly recommend this spot, and if we come back we hope to stay here again.

We saw more monkeys here than anywhere else in Costa Rica. Short distance from the grocery store. The host was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Short drive from the park and beach. The accommodations are spacious and very comfortable. I highly recommend this accommodation. We would definitely stay here again. Verena and Glen

I booked this property as part of a 2+ week Costa Rica vacation and wish we were here the entire time and not just eight days! The location is excellent, close to bus stops, grocery store, local restaurants, and a nice jaunt for exercise to the beaches. The property is not fancy but incredible! Clean, comfortable, and right on the monkey expressway. Every morning we sat on the deck watching capuchins and squirrel monkeys make their way over, below and across our place and enjoyed cocktails in the evening as they made their way back. Red scarlet macaws, toucans, even a sloth with her baby were all in close proximity, it was like being in our own nature preserve! Alberto and Melina were gracious, accommodating, and provided everything we needed. There is a washer that came in handy and the kitchen has the basics for meal preparation. Comfortably sleeps and accommodates four people in the two queen bedrooms. This is beyond the five stars we can give it! We are already planning a return visit with our young grandson.

We loved our stay. The property is immaculate. Sitting on the porch you see monkeys everyday, lots of birds, and beautiful greenery. I would take my coffee there every morning and end my day in the rocking chair. I highly recommend taking the Manuel Antonio tour offered by the host with Filipe. It was wonderful!

Amazing host, amazing location, and a beautiful property as well. Very peaceful and relaxing. We loved hearing the sounds of the jungle as we fell asleep and the host provided great advice regarding restaurants and activities.

This place was great. It has very nice furnishing, cold ac, lots of wildlife, close to everything you need. We had monkeys, sloths and macaws right out the back patio.

My family and I have stayed at many VRBOs, but this house was by far one of our favorites! Situated among trees, we felt like we were living in a tropical jungle, yet enjoyed all the comforts of a beautiful house. Our hosts were absolutely wonderful; we could not have had a better experience here, and hope to come back! Such a value, conveniently located, safe, and beautiful - this is a true treasure. Siento como si estuviéramos en una casa de árboles porque la naturaleza nos rodea. Pero, al mismo tiempo, el interior es como una casa moderna y confortable. Es lo mejor de los mundos y cada aspecto es perfecto: los dueños son tan simpáticos, el barrio es cómodo, y la casa es segura y bonita. Vamos a volver cuando podamos. There were lots of birds around, and there was a sloth in the tree just off our deck for part of our stay. There is a grocery store about 100 meters away which made it easy to get anything we needed. There was also an air conditioner in each bedroom which made it very comfortable for sleeping. I would stay here again next time we are in the area.

This property is a brand new luxurious, beautifully crafted 2 bedroom apartment with air conditioning.The owner spared no expense to make sure that the property would suit everyone’s expectations. It is ultra comfortable in every aspect.We actually had trouble leaving the property for it welcomes you and feels like home. The owners take great pride in making it apparent that the whole unit is thouroughly clean. The balcony is within the jungle, so you will experience seeing most of what Costa Rica’s reknowned Manuel Antonio National reserve has to offer right in this backyard. Besides the utterly beautiful foliage we saw an abundance of monkeys within 2-3 ft from us. Macaws, large squirrel looking creatures and Toucans.The host is extremely gracious and if you have an opportunity you should take one of their tours. For they are certified guides in all aspects of Costa Rica’s wildlife and ecosystems.Hope you are fortunate enough that your dates are available at this property, for you will be planning a return stay before you leave.I should mention that one went to several restaurants and ended up eating at the Morpho restaurant on 3 different days. It was superb!!! Enjoy!!!

Stay here! The place is beautiful and better than advertised and the owners are wonderful in helping with everything. And the monkeys are great!!!

As a travel agent myself, I am constantly scrutinizing properties for my clients. I will most definitely send clients here who plan to visit Manuel Antonio National Park and also recommend Felipe for a tour (which was 7am-noon leaving directly from the property so our car was safe and secure while we saw so many things we would have never seen without a guide!). Our group ages 10-48 had an excellent time, slept comfortably, enjoyed watching macaws from the balcony, and just felt completely at ease. The hosts are super friendly, it was comforting having our car parked behind a gate (any time we travel anywhere it is!), and the facilities in the kitchen allowed us to save money with a market at the end of the street to cook our own meals. I appreciate the opportunity to stay here and highly recommend! Thank you - PURA VIDA!!!

This place was amazing! Perfectly located, gorgeous setting, brand new and the owners were so so accommodating! I would give them double stars if I could. We will be back!

We loved staying here. It is an excellent location with markets and restaurants a short walk up the street. Very clean, nice bathroom and new. Beautiful lanai.The hosts are friendly and speak excellent english. They will give you advice or tours. I would love to stay here again.
