The breakfast was excellent, perfect location for Sedgefield centre and off street parking available. Staff were very attentive.

The room had all facilities but was very small.

Lovely old style village pub/inn with a modern twist with a brilliant location. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was superb!

We stopped in room 5 and it was tiny! Overall the decor was nice and modern but tired. There was lots of scuffs on the walls, and stains on the carpet. There was no proper wardrobe to hang clothes but a rail and shelf. This was directly in front of the full length mirror so was useless because our clothes covered it. If I tried to move our clothes to see in the mirror, the hangers would fall because the plastic clips had seen better days. There was no room to really store anything. There wasn’t an area that I could sit and do my hair and make up. I had to stand in the bathroom area and use the bathroom mirror but there wasn’t any shelf to put my things on so had to put the toilet seat down and use that as a shelf. The bathroom was tiny but adequate. The water pressure of the shower wasn’t great. The bathroom sink was stained yellow. The TV had a crack in it and the inside of the bathroom door had a hole in it. I took pictures and showed the lady on the desk when checking out. She said she knew about the TV which I found disappointing considering we’d paid just short of £300 for 2 nights.
