Sehr freundlicher Empfang, außergewöhnlich noble Villa in ruhiger und doch verkehrsgünstiger Lage, kunstsinnig und kreativ ausgestattete Räume; sehr feines, traditionelles Essen.
Ohne Navi schwer zu finden.

Perfectly fine but a little bit stark, particularly outdoors where they have a large well tended garden area. A bit of comfortable seating out there would make all the difference! Staff are very helpful and the lunch and dinner were good.
Sort out the garden and terrace furniture!

We only stayed in Agadir for one night, transiting to Tenerife but Villa du Souss was quite the welcome to Morocco. We wished that we were staying there for longer, the accommodations are a harmonious blend of old world and mod cons, and everything is tastefully but also personally decorated. Breakfast was amazing, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, organising a driver and going above and beyond to take care of us. All in all it’s just really fabulous and we’ll absolutely be back one day to stay properly.
No complaints.

It is an extraordinary property which we are very glad to have seen. Mekki is a very interesting and hospitable man who we enjoyed talking to. When he has finished restoring the whole house and garden it will be outstanding. But at the moment it isn't fully restored and there are a few quibbles, such as no comfortable place to sit outside and it isn't easy to ask for a soft drink or snack during the day outside set meal times. However the friendly waitress did find us some delicious bread and jam for a sandwich when we asked. Perhaps that should be made clear on the information about the Villa.
The shower in our bathroom is in a high bath and I couldn't get in the bath to use it!! We think this should be made clear when booking. Also, I was under the impression that 'garden room' meant a room on the ground floor, which wasn't the case as there are NO rooms on the ground floor. I was just about OK to go upstairs but again, it should be made clear when booking that this property is not suitable for people with mobility problems - there are many steps outside without handrails. Our room didn't actually overlook the garden it had a view of the car park.

The calmness in this beautiful villa with lovely Moroccan decor and fantastic gardens . Kadia was so helpful and friendly ,organising a late dinner and a taxi for us without hesitation. Breakfast was lovely and served on a big grand table .

Beautiful riad situated in a huge closed off garden, so you feel very safe! Nice and helpful staff, and food (dinner and breakfast) was amazing! I really recommend staying for dinner, one of the best tagines off our stay.

Quite possibly the best hotel experience I've ever had. I felt like a friend coming to stay. Even before I got there, I was asked what food I'd like, so that I could experience local cuisine, which takes time to cook. And tasted amazing.
Lovely room, with steps down into an amazing bathroom.
The building is incredible, the grounds are lovely.
I wish I'd stayed here a little longer - it's close to the airport and the student area of Agadir, so maybe not somewhere you would choose to go for a holiday, but an incredible place and worth a visit for the hell of it.

Gorgeous environment, quiet with such an amazing host. I arrived really late at night and was welcomed so beautifully with a wonderful meal. I felt very safe as a solo female travelling and it was a comfortable first night. The property is beautiful to walk around in in the morning and dinner was amazing, a must to get dinner there! Wish I could've stayed longer.

Located in the old part of small village nestled in the hillside. Lovely roof garden to view scenery. Nice walk through crumbling old part of village. Next to interesting Berber museum. Very quiet except for bird song and what seemed like the evening call to prayer which was a duet which seemed to go on for a long time (30 minutes)
Difficult to find. Googlemaps (using hotel neame) took us down a false dirt track into the middle of nowhere. We had to be "rescued" Bridge being repaired which meant access was down a dusty dirt track.

This was the perfect first stop for us after landing in agadir. The garden is beautiful, the food is very good but what makes this villa special is the beauty of the house and the rooms and the kindness of the owner and his staff (they helped us a lot). Would recommend!!

There is some room for small improvements, but overall a very very happy stay. Book the meal, it is great!!
We did not really like the matras and some small things like a glass retractable shower wall and choice of pillows. The facilities in the room are quite basic, but I am very sure the host/owner will provide you with everything you ask.

everything is mesmerizing inside, the place has personality and history, the staff are very friendly, and service including food and room is top
Just that there's nothing close to it that's interesting to see, but if you are on a 2-3 day stay you'll be busy discovering inside and the large area surrounding that belongs to the property

We have both travelled extensively and agree that the host was the most welcoming and attentive person we have ever encountered. You really feel like he is welcoming you into his home. His female assistant was also extremely thoughtful and on hand for whatever we needed. The house is spectacular with lots of communal space if you don’t want to spend time in your room. The breakfast was also delicious and they catered to our rather specific dietary needs with no hesitation. My friend arrived feeling quite unwell and the host went the extra mile to pick up medication from the pharmacy. Basically, anything you need or want, they will work to make it happen. The proximity to the airport makes this place ideal for your last night in Agadir. It’s a wonderful retreat and felt very zen!
There was a heatwave during our stay and our room became very hot at times. Air conditioning would have been a big plus! It is in quite a rural area meaning you have to take a taxi into Agadir. This was all kindly arranged for us by the host and at a very competitive price. But if you are looking for more of a central location with amenities within walking distance, this probably isn’t the place.
