The location of the property is great. Nice and close to the beach and quiet. The house itself has character and charm as an old style fibro beach house, with a number of original features, though could do with a little TLC. Clean linen, nice bathroom soaps & comfortable beds.

The key issue with this property was that insufficient time was allowed between long term tenants leaving to turn it around to a holiday rental. With a proper “end of lease” style clean before the ordinary cleaners came through to vacuum and make beds, the place may have come up to scratch. Unfortunately, floors, table tops, side tables all needed considerable cleaning (black sticky & dirty), BBQ is old rusty wasn't clean, lawn was littered with cigarette butts, plastic shot cups, empty cans, take away containers, ice cream containers, McDonalds straws, broken egg shells, broken peg basket, tally-ho packets etc etc….. And my children found on the couch what would be described as a “drug baggie”. Light bulbs were out in one bedroom, back deck & laundry. Had Raine & Horne Terrigal, who manage the property responded to these issues, it may have gone a long way towards improving the overall experience.
