Très bon petit déjeuner.
Personnel accueillant. La vue est impressionnante.

Most beautiful location and view! Bong fire in the evening, good food, hot water, nice and knowledgeable staff.
Beds are a bit small (challenge for very tall people), rooms in general are small but you're not there to stay in your room anyways :)

Location is fabulous. Out of the world.
Wifi doesn't work. There is only one router at the reception and they even turn that off when they aren't using it

The food (especially the Rwandan dishes) was good, and the atmosphere of the restaurant with the warm fire was pleasant. The views were quite stunning.
The mildew smell in our room was off putting as well as our room’s position in the compound, as we were right beside the staff living quarters with little privacy. The lighting was poor such that we had to use headlamps in our room. The ecolodge’s personal car to Nyungwe costs $70 return.

Eric is a very friendly manager. After Burundi the hot endless shower wat super!!! A good burger and crispy fries!
It has a very beautiful scenery. not too far from Nyungwe forest.
the breakfast was slow and some pancakes tasted like soap. I’d suggest to train the staff a bit better; that would make the price/quality a lot better. Also cleaner kitchen please.
We loved the fact that we had a fireplace but there was no real chimney so it was a bit smokey in the room.

Loved the location, the room is beautiful and the staff really kind
The room was a bit too cold and there was no way of heating it

Great location with beautiful surroundings of tea plantations and great views. Good food, huge portions, perfect breakfast. It is possible to walk/ hike arround and see the life of local farmers. Nice staff in the restaurant. Beds are comfortable.
If you come with your rented car, it will help you a lot - as you need to pay 70 USD for a ride to the park and back and it is very difficult to leave this area by public transport.
The price does not correspond to what you get - simple rooms, basic shower without hot water (the water is kind of warm for 5 minutes only) and without sound proof door that do not close anyway. The bedroom ceiling was moldy and it was cold during the night.
The worst part was the logistics of our departure. We came by bus. The staff promised us to book bus tickets to Gisakura, later the staff said there were no tickets, later he offered us a ride by his own car (for extremely high price), after our refusal, he said the tickets were available and booked for us, in the end the bus just passed us without stopping, so we had to hitch hike while it was raining heavily… There were almost no cars passing by, but we were lucky and managed to stop a truck with nice Tanzanian guys and we got to our destination with 3 hours delay…

Great area and friendly staff. Good dining.
Leaking windows during rain and not renovated room including broken door handle to bathroom. Not functioning internet.

Wonderful view, close to Nyungwe park, good breakfast, friendly staff who advised us on Nyungwe park possibilities.
The bathroom is rather basic; there were a couple of holes in the mosquito net.

bathroom is a bit of a dungeon

the views!!!! the sweet staff especially in the reception / restaurant bar. Helpful with our trip logistics.
extremely run down room (Chimpanzee / 2 twin beds room) - basic repairs needed - felt dark and dirty. No view from room (unlike all other rooms). WAY too expensive.

The location at the exit / entrance of Nyungwe NP is very practical and the setting of the lodge over the hills and tea plantations is amazing. The manager and staff were very kind and always helpful. The restaurant / bar area had a nice mountain feel.
Given the fact that we took the most expensive rooms, and comparing the price to the other places we stayed in Rwanda, we were expecting something very nice. But unfortunately the wooden cabin looked very basic and it was super cold inside, and the fireplace did not help. The bed sheets were thick so we could sleep well, but altogether it was a rather uncomfortable place to be. Given all this, I would say the prices at Nziza are at least twice too high. It's a real pity because the place has potential and the staff is really nice.

Very nice view!
Not all of our rooms had hot water.

Good location 5 mins drive from park entrance (although 45 mins drive from Uwinka visitor centre in the park where em the chimp treking starts) and straight off the main tarmaced road. lovely helpful staff, good food, comfortable beds, hot shower.
very steep paths from rooms to reception/ restaurant, take it very slowly.

views are amazing, the staff is very nice and accommodating, specially the manager Eric. breakfast for early morning trek was ready on time, the food was good, the cabins were lovely
it’s a bit far from the parks centre, so you have to wake up fairly early to be there on time

Very nice place. Amazing views. Great installations with terraces on the mountains to have a drink or see the sunset. Good food. Nice staff.
It’s the place we spent more money, but it was worth it.
Wi-Fi only in the reception / restaurant, and very weak.

peaceful setting
I think it’s under development but I’m it has really good potential
awful aggressive dog barking at guests that were trying to go to the restaurant area . it was tied up, but not a nice thing to walk down to! Is it that hard to train your animal?
table cloth was filthy at dinner and breakfast - stained and soiled.
only one towel was left in the twin room booked for two guests, and nobody was around in the reception area to sort another ! the security man tried his best to understand my query but obviously locating towels is not part of his job.

close to a national park
Pretty much everything else! The room had a stink that lingered in the nose for hours. There was what looked like mold on the ceiling. The compound had what seemed like at least 50% of its area under construction!!! The rooms lacked proper insulation. The bathroom window could not be closed. All this lead to a lot of cold air being let into the room during the cold nights at this property's altitude. I am speechless that this place is allowed to stay on the great site of booking.com. Guests are paying for a construction site of a new hotel at incredibly high prices. I am no legal expert, but in Europe this would not be illegal. Booking.com should reconsider making business with this property!

the amazing view, the beautiful and cozy wooden cottage, the fire place, the manager.

Location and food was good! And the staff was very helpful!
Not worth the price. Standard should have been higher felt half way done and some basics were missing in the room like trash can and hooks. No back-up power so power was out for 3 hours our last night and we had to spend it in the dark. Since it’s an eco lodge I would have expected solar panels.

View on canopy and tea farm. People are friendly. Cold temperatures.
No hot water. Average cuisine.

Gorgeous location and right outside the National Park. The view of the stars was incredible. Staff was very attentive and helpful.
The wifi did not work at night and it was quite chilly in June so suggest bringing a sweatshirt or similar.
