The property had a good range of facilities. eg washing machine, kitchen. However the Suite was very cramped with the couch and TV just in the first bedroom at the bottom of the bed. Meals table and chairs were just part of the hallway and the kitchen, bathroom were very cramped.

The neighbourhood was very uninviting and we did not feel safe walking around or using the subway. The area has very little to offer in the way of activities and is not suitable for using as a base to visiting NYC. Access to the cbd is quite difficult with a number of changes required to use the subway. We would not use the subway at night so this meant $50 Uber rides to get back.

The apartment is large and comfortable. We found all we needed for our stay, including free mineral water, snacks, masks, slippers and even a stroller for our baby. Contrarily to some previous reviews, we could eat easily in four people in the table. The owner was very helpful and fast to answer our questions online and to provide what we needed. Although somebody discorauged us to choose this location, it revealed perfect for our stay: it is very close to a subway station (although a non-accessible one for weelchairs and stroller, due to the long stairs), neighbors are friendly and some supermarkets are very close. Overall, the value for money was very good, and we would be happy to return there, if necessary.

Based on locals' suggestions, we chose not to use the subway at night, for security reasons. This involved relatively large taxi/Uber costs, since the apartment is far from the city center. Bathroom and kitchen are quite small. The cooking equipment should be enriched, since we found just a big pot and a pan, both quite old. Finally, the washing machine drain ended up close to the sink, with the water rising up to where we washed the dishes, which is not the most hygienic situation. In conclusion, the cooking/washing environment would need at least slight improvements, especially for people staying for relatively long stays.

The place was great and in a quiet location. The home was well stocked and comfortable, I will definitely book this place again. Thanks for making us feel welcomed.
