a bit noisy outside because of church bell and construction. but noise stopped during late evening.

Virginia was very welcoming and supported us in finding the apartment, space was clean and offered everything you’d need for a couple night stay

The location is excellent, it is practically in the center of the town, but at the same time outside the noisy area. The distance to any shop or restaurant is a few minutes. Also, the distance to the train station is less than 10 minutes. The fact that it is close to the church is absolutely no problem. I heard the bells in just one morning, and that happened because it was Sunday. In addition, let's be serious, Riomaggiore is a small town, surrounded by mountains and if there is a church where the bells ring, you can hear them everywhere, it doesn't matter where you live. The sound insulation of the house is very good. Communication with Virginia was also excellent, very responsive to any request. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary, with attention to detail, to spend a most comfortable vacation. Upon arrival, we found water in the fridge, croissants and jam for one breakfast (even if it was not included in the price). Also, the host left us coffee and tea for the entire period.

Amazing location, very friendly host, easy check-in, clean place and good value for money! Small arrangement for quick breakfast was nice! 😊 I recommend this place to stay if you are visiting Riomaggiore or Cinque Terre in general.

The room/apartment was lovely, recently modernised. The bed was comfy, and the air conditioning was very good. We loved having a small kitchen to use. The bathroom shower was excellent. Great location, up from the main hustle and bustle of the village so 30second walk to the first restaurant, but still a quiet location. Very short walk to the beach too.

Parking here was very expensive, and public car park only.

It was my 4th stay in Cinque Terre and each time I stayed in Riomaggiore (so I know the area quite well :)). Virginia's apartment was the best ever! Just a few minutes from the train station and very close to the beautiful beach. Very large and spacious room, kitchen and large bathroom (with a huge shower). Despite the location on the main street of Riomaggiore, at night we did not hear so much noise (during the first night we saw a concert organized in the square very close to the apartment - then the noise was slightly higher). Breakfast and drinks were waiting in the room. We could ask Virginia with any questions, and before our arrival, she recommended places with a good aperitif, food and drink. It was a great stay and my mother fell in love with Italy! Thank you Virginia! :)

Modern, renovated, clean studio apartment with good air-conditioning and a responsive host. Good location, close to shops and restaurants. Would recommend.

The listing states that this is an apartment consisting of a bedroom and a living room, which is why we chose this accommodation, however that is not true. There is no living room. We were a group of three people and needed two separate rooms (bedroom and living room with a bed as per listing) instead what we got was a bedroom with a small single bed next to the double bed. Would recommend this place for a couple or a couple and their young child.

The broken AC (it functioned, but made very loud sound every 15 seconds) made the stay absolutely miserable as we couldn't sleep. Also, the place is not as nice as the pictures suggest it to be. Owner provided fan to remedy the AC issue, which didn't resolve the problem as the AC had to be constantly on to cool down the room.

right in the middle of Riomaggiore. very clean and new place. everything necessary for cooking and bathing was available. we liked it very much. the host responded amazingly with lots of suggestions and help.

only bad thing is parking (because skyrocketing expensive) but it’s no fault of the host, it’s Cinque Terre. better come by train

Well placed to explore the cinque terre.

Great location, a bit of an uphill climb, as well as a few steep stairs when you get in. Right on the Main Street, just past all the touristy points, so super close when you want to go, but without all the commotion and racket outside your window. The Main Street has tons of restaurants and cute shops where they sell cute little clothes and souvenirs as well as small grocery stores. At the very end of the Main Street there is a staircase that leads to the ocean, we climbed until the very end of the rocks and enjoyed an amazing view of Riomaggiore. The apartment was also close to a peaceful residential area and hiking trails. In my opinion, Riomaggiore is the best out of the 5 towns, the people are friendly and it feels more like a community. Great host, responded to all our questions within a short period of time and made our stay a breeze. The flat itself is amazing, a bit smaller than the pictures, but the perfect layout, open, cozy and comfortable. The host left us everything we needed as well as some goodies. We were provided, laundry detergent, paper towels, kitchen rag, dish soap, hand soap, body soap, shampoo (not the best brand tho, consider bringing your own if you’re picky like us), clothes pins, a clothes line, hangers, toilet paper, towels (we did want some extras tho, as they only get changed every 4 days), dishes, basic cooking items (oil, spices) as well some extras like water bottles and a lovely breakfast basket that included croissants, bread crackers and a variety of spreads. The cleanliness was also top notch, we did not have any complaints and didn’t feel like we needed to be cautious during our stay, despite being pretty clean-freak people.

The boiler and lights went out at one point of our stay. The owner’s father and brother came instantly and fixed it. They are the nicest and kindest people.

We LOVED our room; it was EXTREMELY clean, spacious, modern it had all the amenities and closed to everything in the center of RIOMAGGIORE. Walking distance everywhere and the host and the family all lovely people, friendly and very attentive. Thanks for everything

The only things to note are that the double bed is actually two single beds pushed together, although they are still comfortable beds! (This seems to be common around Italy). Also, as the apartment is so well located in the centre of town, there can be a little street noise.

The arrival and parking process was very smooth - Virginia was really responsive and even left us a bottle of bubbly for our honeymoon!! The location is excellent.

The bed is a little hard - just a personal preference.

We had a great stay at Nonno Dante. Virginia was a great communicator and very helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment is lovely and in a superb location for exploring Cinque Terre.
