Beautiful hotel with excellent staff.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was really comfortable with a massive balcony overlooking the gardens. Breakfast was delicious.

The swimming pool was empty.

The views from the room and the hotel gardens. The staff although limited English always tried their best to help.

The room smelled of cigarettes, we did not book a smoking room. The bathroom smelled like sewers, maybe an issue with the drainage.

There were no glasses in the room. Breakfast starts at 9 am. hardly get a meal at 9:30

Feel and Enjoy the Nature at Bergs Hotel

Located in a very scenic place. Surrounded by mountains. Very close to River. Amazing view of the mountain and river. Ilisu Waterfalls a short driving distance. In the morning stepped out from the hotel and explore the nearby natural beauty by walk. One staff (his name probably Farid) speak bit english and we communicated with him for our various requirement.

No one can understand or speak English except one staff. So it was very difficult to communicate with them. Breakfast was not good. Requested for half an hour late check out which was rejected by the front office staff so we vacated the room sharp 12 Noon.

It was an incredible and exceptionally restful time!

I have had an absolutely incredible experience here at the Bergs Hotel! I didn't think it possible, but the actual resort is more beautiful than the pictures! The grounds are incredible, with so many places to walk and get lost in the incredible natural beauty that surrounds this gem on all sides! From the constant soothing sound of the rushing Ağçay River to the beautiful roses planted all around--and even the little kittens that make occasional appearances, everything was perfect for a time of rest and refreshment! The staff was incredibly helpful but also provided me with privacy, which I greatly appreciate, making my trip even more restful and comfortable! The food was incredible; I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered! I will certainly recommend this beautiful place to my friends and whole-heartedly hope I have the privilege of returning one day!

Unwind in the most picturesque location

Location is great, Ilisu is such a picturesque place between mountains, you just want to sit and unwind there. Five of us (3 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed in a cottage, it is a bit small but since we spent most time outdoor, it was absolutely ok. They serve basic breakfast on the terrace, our waiter Sabuhi was great, always there to assist.

Shower place is small, and the door not closing properly so the water ends up on the floor. Endless ants are quite annoying. Doors are squeaking and it disturbs others if you are going to the bathroom at night or simply leaving your room. There is just one AC in the sitting room, it was enough to cool other 2 rooms though. Staff does not speak English or Russian, which was OK for me but is detrimental to the property located in such a beautiful place.

This place was great and I recommend it to anyone traveling through Qax.

I loved the separate room for children and adults. I also loved the walking area on the compound of the hotel. Very beautiful.

This hotel was a comfortable place from which to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ilisu.

The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the dinners we ate there as well. It was nice to be served meals at the table on our cottage porch. The pool and grounds were nice and the location was perfect for enjoying the beautiful mountains around Ilisu. The 2-bedroom cottage we stayed in was very comfortable, with modern facilities and good-sized living area. We were having such a good time that we decided to extend our visit with an extra night.

We stayed four nights and could have used more cleaning of our cottage. We had a housekeeper visit just once and she only replenished supplies when the floor could have been swept (no broom or vacuum was provided) and bathroom cleaned. This was a minor issue, however.

The location is beautiful.

The staff is not professional. The room was small. There were not some necessary things in the room. Service quality in the hotel's restaurant is not good. Meals were cold and most of meals on the menu were unavailable!
