Situated in Carillon Beach, this attractive house for $309 per night is a great option for your next trip. Sol Surfer is a, 1 bedroom / 1.5 bathroom carriage house located in the gulf front village of Carillon Beach. Sleeping 4, this home has plenty of space for your family including a queen sized bed and full sleeper sofa. This home is located less than one block from the white, sandy beaches with 7 private, community access points. The gated community has multiple pools for guests to use, as well as tennis courts and basketball courts. Walk around Carillon Market Street for a variety of shopping and dining. Enjoy a romantic stroll through the promenade or walk along the beach to watch sunsets in paradise. Sol Surfer is a separate carriage house located on the same grounds as the main home Completely Coastal. If you wish to reserve the main home along with Sol Surfer, Click Here If you do not wish to reserve the main home along with Sol Surfer, please be aware it can be rented separately and there is a chance it will be occupied by other guests during your stay. Good location. Just a short walk to the crystal clear beach. Loved the surrounding area and it was not crowded with people. Only recommendation would be to have a couple more pots and pans for cooking along with more cooking utensils. I would highly recommend.

Loved our time at Sol Surfer! Cozy carriage house perfect for 2-4 people and very close to the beach. The bathroom was recently remodeled and is beautiful. Love the fact that it had a full kit and washer and dryer. We didn't want to leave!

My family and I enjoyed our time in the quaint space. It was the perfect location and area for us to find ourselves quickly doing some of our favorite things. The space was accommodating and there were thoughtful efforts to make the stay comfortable. We will definitely look to come back again!

Nice little house, close to the beach walkover. Very clean, and very comfortable bed!! It was small, but perfect for just the two of us. Would recommend for a couple. It is the "carriage house", directly behind the main house, so you have to walk through the driveway of the main house every time you go in or out. We were aware of this when we booked it, but it's just important to note if you're considering booking. You have to park in front of the main house (not in the driveway) which again was no problem for us. We actually met the owners of the house during our stay and they were very kind and welcoming! We have been going to Carillon for many years and absolutely love the community!!!

Sol Surfer is a cute little cottage. Great access to the beach. Clean and well equipped (except kitchen could use some cutting boards).

Sol Surfer was the perfect little house. The house was clean and bright. Just steps away from the walkover to the beach. The only recommendation I would have is maybe stock the kitchen better. There were no baking sheets or casserole dishes. No serving spoons or larger spoons to cook with. I highly recommend using Parardise Properties Vacation Rentals to book. They were so helpful and always available whenever I had a question. Overall though an amazing place to stay for vacation!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sol Surfer! The house was beautiful and the kitchen has everything we needed. We were just steps from the beach and just steps from the adorable shops on market street. We can't wait to go again.

Perfect location but the unit did smell like smoke when I checked in. The property manager promptly responded to my concern and brought an ozone machine in the unit. While this did help initially, the smell returned but not as strong. I do think the unit could use a fresh coat of paint and maybe change the air filters. The kitchen was well stocked (minus a cutting board) and the bed was comfortable.

Great little rental
We’ve been coming to Carrillon for over 10 years and this is a great little find. Has everything you need and a short walk to the beach. Loved the outside shower and the bucket of toys. We can’t wait to come back! Thanks for a great stay.

The location was amazing! Beautiful neighborhood with beach access just steps away. Loved using the heated pools as well! We took morning walks daily and enjoyed the safety of the gated community.
The unit itself is nice. Kitchen is well equipped, the living space is nice, and the bedroom and bathroom were a good size. A few upgrades needed in my opinion, listed below.
- Bath towels were tiny and not soft
- Shower had horrible water pressure and didn’t get very warm. Didn’t make for a relaxing experience.
- Washer / dryer is ancient and tiny - which wouldn’t bug me if it worked well. Had to run each load 2-3 times. Smelled a bit moldy.
- Throw pillows need to be upgraded. They shed feathers constantly.
- We didn’t find the bed to be comfortable, but that’s personal preference.
- Light shines in from the back deck by the grill if left on by the main house guests. Really hard to sleep despite there already being a (relatively useless) paper shade put up to try to avoid this problem. Luckily it only happened to us one night.
- We used the driveway to walk back and forth from the unit but you’re “supposed” to use the sandy walkway. Not easy to use either way. Either walking in the sand, or weaving in and out of cars and bikes.
- TV should be a smart TV in 2022, and it wasn’t
- WiFi worked half the time which was disappointing
Sounds really negative but it was a great time despite our issues. Would rent in the neighborhood again but not this unit. Check in time is also a bit late, and check out is early.

Great little house
The house made for a perfect last minute vacation. The location was great. We have stayed in many different houses in carralon over the years and I think I like the location of this one the best. Sort walk to the beach. Short walk to the park/ pool. And not that bad of a walk to the Cafe and shipwreck. We were lucky enough to meet the owners while we were there, such great people. They did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The house is small perfect for a couples get away but my wife and I and our 2 kids still stayed in it very comfortably. We will definitely be booking this place again.

Small, but sweet
This property is a small space, but had all the basic amenities needed for a week at the beach. The accessibility to the pool and beach was phenomenal. The pull-out sofa was decently comfortable. The only negative is the access to the carriage house is mildly inconvenient, as they request that you use the side path (sand) vs the driveway so as not to disturb the guests staying in the main house. This meant I had to roll our heavy suitcases down a sandy path on arrival and departure. Otherwise, everything was great!

This one bedroom beach cottage more than sufficed for a family of 4. The layout is reversed-so it’s a little different, but we made it work. The only complaint is there is no separate entrance to the property but up the driveway of the main house (realized this on booking, but experiencing it was awkward). The cost was marginally better (cost efficient) because of this.
