Perfect cabin! Supplied all the necessities during our stay. Beautiful woodwork. Close to all main attractions. Very peaceful and quiet to stay. They had outside toys for children too that would be nice if we stayed during warm weather. Definitely recommend!

The most fun we had as a family in years!!!!

We went for a girls trip and really enjoyed the quiet here.

Cider cabin is a great looking home- nicely tucked back in the woods and has everything you need for a cozy stay. We enjoyed the easy to use hot tub and convenience to shopping in Brown County. Thank you.

The property is close to a lot of the things you want to see and do in Nashville. Host was quick to respond to questions. The property was very comfortable for 6 adults. Kitchen had all the things we needed to make breakfast and dinner. It was very clean and easy to find. We really enjoyed our stay and would book here again.

We enjoyed our time relaxing and unplugging from life at this cabin!

The house has plenty of room for myself and 4 girlfriends. The house could be very nice but could use some updating. Looks like they had started projects on walls with drywall but never finished. The no doors on the main floor bedroom and the bathrooms upstairs is not ideal but we made it work. Would be nice if there were chairs around the fire pit so we didn't have to bring our own. The cell service wasn't good and with no WIFI it made it hard to watch any TV when we wanted to . Would have been nice to have WIFI.
The deck area is very dark at night so it would have been nice to have lights out there for walking to and from the hot tub.
Damon was amazing with communication and help when we needed it.
Nothing I stated would stop us from staying again in the future.

Had a wonderful stay! So private and peaceful …yet so close to everything. The hot tub and huge deck were amazing. Highly recommend!

Great location, beautiful setting! Came for a quick mountain bike trip. Location of cabin is less than 10 min from Brown County Park

The cabin was perfect for our group. Our group of 6 loved the cabin. It was peaceful and quiet. Exactly what we needed for our little mini reunion. Beautiful setting, clean and comfy, with a table big enough to seat us all for card games in the evening. The owner was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We are already planning our next trip!

Such a quiet place with tons of wildlife. The hot tub and screened-in porch are amazing!

Our family (2 adults+4yo+2yo+NB) stayed here for a few days and loved it. The kids loved the swing, we enjoyed the hot tub, the inside and outside of the property were very spacious. The location was great for hiking, restaurants and shopping. We would love to come back again!

The Cider Cabin was great for our weekend stay near Nashville--far enough into the woods to feel "away," but near to town and its amenities. The hot tub was great, plus lots of board games and some outdoor games for kids.
Warning to renters--the first floor bedroom does not have a door for privacy and the first floor bathroom does not have a shower/tub. (One of the second floor ensuite bathrooms also does not have a door.) The setup worked for our family, but could be tricky for others!

We had a very enjoyable stay, property is very nice. We would stay here again. Convenient to down town Nashville and state park.

Place was nice. Was fully stocked up on supplies. Our only issue was there were no locks on the bathroom doors or no doors on the bathrooms. We had a family group staying, so that was a little awkward for showers and things. Other than that, it was as it was shown on the site, hot tub was great. Also the screened in deck was fantastic.

We celebrated my son's graduation with a stay at this cabin. There was plenty of room to spread out, the kitchen was well stocked for meal prep, and the woodland setting was so relaxing! I expecially appreciated the screen porch where I could enjoy nature without getting bothered by bugs.
The only downside of this cabin was the lack of doors. The downstairs bedroom and two upstairs bathrooms didn't have doors or curtains for privacy, and this made things a little challenging for our group since we were co-ed and we weren't all related. That didn't detract from my overall review though because the cabin was amazing otherwise!

This is the BEST stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in! Their listing did not do it justice. There was a bag of outdoor toys for kids, there was even a crockpot in the pantry! We had plenty of room for everyone. The deck is enormous and had lots of seating. We really enjoyed the town of Nashville and relaxing around a campfire at night. This may have to be an annual event. Thank you!

Beautiful home, very clean. Could have used some doors on the upstairs bath for a bit more privacy.

It was a nice place and we enjoyed our stay. The LED lights around the deck wouldn’t work so it got pretty dark out there after sunset. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice place. Could use some brighter lighting, was kinda dark after dark. Perfect location, close but not too close to Nashville. Would definitely go back!!

My family and I spent Memorial Day Weekend in Brown County visiting the State Park and the town of Nashville. We rented Cider Cabin and was happy with how much space the cabin offered for all of us. The living room had 3 comfy couches and recliners that everyone could relax on after our long days and it has an adorable kitchen stocked with everything you could need. The 3 bedrooms were clean and comfortable and each had a bathroom near them. We did wish there was a little more privacy offered as the downstairs bedroom does not have a door or curtains on the windows for privacy and the upstairs bedrooms have doors to the room but no doors on the restrooms and the bedroom doors do not lock. The cabin does have a wrap-around huge porch that we felt like could have been the highlight of the cabin, but it is in desperate need of a cleaning. With it being warm, we expected the porch to be blown off (sticks & debris from winter still sat all over it), trash picked up (soda cans/bandaid by the hot tub/ants in hot tub/broken bar/beer cooler filled with mud), Holiday decorations put away (Halloween/Snowman) and the outdoor furniture cleaned and prepared for use. The fire pit area is also in much need of some simple clean up. We actually moved the wheelbarrow & trash can laying on their sides buried in the leaves and dirt right next to the fire pit. We were shocked by the lack of care to the outdoors considering the cabin was so clean and cared for inside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cabin is large and secluded. Would definitely stay here again. Bonus hot tub is large and works well, wonderful after a day of hiking or mountain biking.

We had a great time staying at Cider Cabin. It’s very convenient to get to the part for outdoor activities, and the cabin has plenty of space and privacy for spending time relaxing in the evenings.

Beautiful place. Very quiet with all the amenities that one would need (lots of coffee, water, spices, utensils, grill, etc.). The owner was quick to respond.

The listing does say there’s no cable or wifi but only if you scroll to the bottom which I find somewhat deceptive, especially since the reception is really terrible even for major carriers so it’s nearly impossible to get connected, let alone stream anything which would have been incredibly helpful to know while booking during March Madness. The hot tub, secluded location and updated kitchen were great. It was “cleaned” regularly but not well. There was dust caked on the walls and in corners, and cobwebs everywhere.

Cider Cabin was a perfect
getaway spot for 3 generations to gather this weekend. The beds are comfy, kitchen has all you need, and Damon, the host, is very responsive to questions. Aside from relaxing at the cabin, we enjoyed dinner at The Story Inn, an architectural tour in Columbus, and a hike in the beautiful Brown County Stare Park.

The property was clean, functional, and in a good location. There was also plenty of parking.

This cabin has an excellent secluded location for a private getaway. One awkward feature is there are no doors on the upstairs bathroom or downstairs bedroom. It has nice appliances and a good hot tub. Overall a great place to stay.

This was a lovely spot for our thanksgiving gathering. Feeling like you were away from civilization but close to the state park, Nashville, Columbus and Bloomington. The cabin was cozy but big enough to give us personal space and for friends to visit. I could have done without the deer heads.

We had everything we needed to make our Women's ministry leadership retreat perfect! The cabin was clean with towels, and any extras we needed included some spices in the pantry. The large rooms made it great for games. It is so close to the state park and lots of hiking. I would recommend this cabin. I plan on staying here again.

Very nice place to getaway

Excellent choice if you want to relax in a wonderfully equipped cabin, with smooth and simple check-In and close/easy access to Nashville. Felt like we were miles from civilization. This rental has everything you need. The porch and it’s furniture were great. Nice layout if the cabin. You can enjoy time with your friends or family, but enough space that you can find that quiet spot to hole up in. Want every comfort of home? Stay home. Want an idyllic experience and the beauty of nature? I think you found it.

Cider cabin was a wonderful place for a girls’s getaway. There was plenty of seating in the living room for everyone to comfortably sit and visit. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with a bonus of a Keurig AND coffee pods. The wrap around porches and the screened porch were fantastic with comfortable seating. Because the weather was unusually warm we sat on the porch and moved to the screen porch when it rained and the wind picked up. It was perfect. The hot tub was greatly appreciated. We were not able to use the fire pit due to high winds but it was another nice feature of the cabin.
We had a little problem with check-in because the address and key code provided by VRBO and the host did not match. For some reason, I did not receive the welcome notice from the host in my email. We got everything straightened out fairly quickly with a couple of phone calls and proceeded to have a fantastic visit. Loved the quiet location. It had a remote feel but was near “civilization.”

Since my husband & I retired we have been travelling a lot. Since January we have stayed at 11 different holiday rentals (in Iceland, UK, Australia, Patagonia & USA) and Cider Cabin has been one of our favorites right here in "our own back yard". Situated in the woods in beautiful Brown County, one can't help but feel relaxed upon arrival. The cabin interior is super cozy and has everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is definitely "not" rustic and has lovely appliances which I imagine would be a pleasure for a larger family group. We enjoyed the quality beds and fresh clean linens. A highlight for us was the hot tub which is situated on the front deck, looking out into the woods, completely private and quiet. Although we did not have children with us on this visit, we appreciated that Cider Cabin is very "family friendly" so we plan to return with our daughters and grandchildren soon. Regarding our host, Damon, he was very responsive and went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our visit. He is very committed to ensuring his guests have a lovely experience at the cabin. The pictures online are accurate, but they do not capture the "ambiance" and warmth of Cider Cabin. We have no hesitation in recommending this holiday rental. Thanks for your hospitality Damon!

We loved the house and was so comfortable and stocked with everything! Location is perfect and we just had a wonderful weekend! We for sure will return!!!

I stayed here with my sister, our parents, and our spouses. The house has a spacious living room and kitchen, and each couple had their own bedroom. We loved the big wooden table for meals and games. The property feels secluded, but is close to everything...zip lining, shopping, hiking, and wineries and distilleries. We cooked breakfasts and dinners, and ate lunches out. There’s a nice large refrigerator, gas stove/oven, and outdoor grill. We enjoyed the hot tub and had a fire in the ring all three evenings. We brought a couple lanterns for the deck and our own firewood. The owner was quick to reply to any questions. It was a great stay for our family. We would choose this house again.
