The views were sensational. I didn't expect to have such an expansive view of the lake and ocean. You could see all the way to Tuncurry/Foster. The house was great! We went bush walking which was a nice activity. We loved how secluded it felt, it allowed us to really switch off and enjoy our time. But it was still close enough to the bowling club for a nice dinner.
The host was great! She kept up communication to make sure we had check in and checked out ok. She also allowed us to have a late checkout which was a nice treat!
The lights around the spa needed replacing but the host informed us of that. We managed to rig up our own light so it wasn't a big deal.

The view over Wallis Lake and Booti Booti Beach was stunning. There are not many places in the area where you can see both lake and ocean. The hot swim spa was great. Well equipped kitchen . 2 km Driveway up the mountain is sealed and sets the scene for the wonderful outlook at the end. Becky the manager was most communicative and eager to make sure our time at Magic Mountain was enjoyable .
1970s house in need of an update. In the bush - need a bushfire plan .

Photos look good. Shame about everything else!
AVOID THIS PLACE. It looks nice in the photos, but you will be sorry if you stay here. The accommodation was not as described or advertised. When we tried bringing this to the attention of the accommodation provider, we were accused of lying on multiple occasions.
1) 3-4 hours after checking out the accommodation host and her husband rang and verbally abused and swore at us. They accused us of damaging a spa cover, which is both impossible and a lie, and demanding $2000 to replace! We can only assume their motivation was based on our previous complaints. They refused to listen to anything we said, and made numerous threats. We reported this to Booking.com who are investigating and said we should not pay anything!
2) No hot water for the first 2 nights. The accommodation provider at first claimed we were using too much hot water, or the hot water system was not big enough for us all to have a hot shower on the same day. These were both lies. When they finally agreed to come out and inspect, they found an electrical fault with the hot water system, which left us with no hot water for nearly 2 days.
3) This property is disgusting. We even found a rat on the kitchen bench one morning! There were multiple spiderwebs inside the house, excess dust and grime in all the cupboards, used cigarette buts found around the spa, used toilet paper rolls scattered outside.
4) The BBQ did not work. Again, at first the host tried to claim we were using it wrong, and there was nothing wrong with it. Later they admitted that the gas lines were blocked or damaged. We were therefore without the BBQ for the entire stay.
5) This is an old house. It is well worn. The carpets are worn, the furniture is worn. The electrical wiring in the house is also old and worn, as the hallway lights keep flicking off/on randomly. This is dangerous and annoying. Outside is not well maintained, there are old cages run-down parts all over the property. The "outdoor oven" is a rusty joke.
