What a special spot to enjoy a long Thanksgiving weekend. We brought all the trimmings to cook a small turkey dinner in the tiny, yet well equipped kitchen. Billy surprised us by stocking the frig with goodies - fresh figs, blueberries, yogurts, Kerrigold butter, Rose wine, jams, eggs, half 'n half, gorgonzola, and MORE!
The cottage is rustic, small, functional, eclectic and immensely comfortable - especially the bed with down comforter and mattress protector). So hard to get out of each morning without coffee first!
We loved walking from the cottage to the beach, trails or on Commercial St (one street down). Easy to get around without a car or bike. And trust me, Billy will ensure you feel welcomed, cared for and pampered. He's a treasure to behold! We already plan to return to Come Back Cottage next fall. Can't wait!

I just spent, without a doubt, one of the best weeks that I've ever spent in Provincetown in the last 40 years. Pamela was so responsive to questions prior to my stay and Billy was a delight showing me the cottage when I arrived with my dog, Rainbow, and chatting with me during the week. The cottage is pure bliss: cozy, rustic, clean, eclectic, and charming. Without a doubt, I will return often to this place to clear my mind and enrich my soul. What an amazing experience.

We spent more time at "home" engaged in meaningful conversation and just plain relaxing than we usually do when we come out to Provincetown. The place seems to invite this.
Billy, the host, helps create this mood and ambience. He is present but not intrusive.
Daisy the pug, Elisabeth, and Roy enjoyed our visit. Thank You.

We had planned to spent time in town shopping and eating out, but the cabin was so adorable, and Billy was such an amazing host that we found ourselves not wanting to leave. Every detail was considered on our arrival including a fresh baked apple pie, snacks and beautiful bottle of wine. We loved our time at the property and will absolutely book again

The rental was just perfect for us and for our pup, Arlo. ,Billy met us when we arrived and took us on a tour of the cottage and property. The many goodies and beautiful fresh flowers, plants and floral arrangements were very much appreciated. The art collection was eclectic and extensive and three days was not enough time to explore it fully The rental was equipped with everything any renter or pup would want or need! Arlo is already searching for dates to return to this gem! And we can't wait to join him!

MY husband, 2 Irish Terriers and myself had an AMAZING stay at this cottage. Billy the caretaker was beyond friendly and accommodating with anything you could possibly want or need. Pamela and her husband were lovely as well! I can't write enough nice things about this place and the owners.
Billy had plenty of snacks and a stocked fridge, when we arrived he had baked a fresh delicious apple pie! He also left us some delightful sweet treats and homemade gazpacho that was so good!
We tend to worry when we travel about if the place will have everything we need to cook or stay for a week. They had anything you could possible need and more. The space was larger than anticipated, super clean and the artist retreat decor was lovely. Can't wait to book another stay - would highly recommend!

Well designed old school cape cod cottage. Great pet friendly location with easy parking and a short bike ride into town. The caretaker Billy is on site to answer any questions.

As if Billy wasn’t enough, the cottage is absolutely perfect. Well and I mean well stocked so leave any kitchen gadget, linens and cleaning products at home. There are 4 different ways to make coffee. There is an electric kettle and all the pots, pans and utensils you could want. It was nice to not have to eat out every meal and especially nice to wake up to the smell of coffee.
Something to note: The cottage is about a mile outside of town in the east end. We had bikes so it was not a problem. There is nowhere reasonable to park on Commecial Street or Bradford street without paying a substantial amount so bring your bikes or you can rent them in town.
I’m saving the best for last….. Billy met us when we arrived and could not have been nicer. We had a freshly baked blueberry pie when we arrived and vanilla ice cream in the freezer. Billy was kind enough to have items in the fridge that we would need for our first night/morning without having to go to the grocery store right away. Throughout the cottage were fresh flowers, candies, nuts and so much delicious fruit. Billy goes above and beyond to make sure you are not only comfortable but truly feel like a guest. You feel special and Billy is around to answer any questions you might have. He is truly the icing on this incredible cottage cake. Do not pass on this cottage.

We had a wonderful week at the cottage. It was quiet, comfortable with lovely outdoor spaces. We were able to take advantage of Ptown and environs even though we did not have a car. We greatly appreciated the extras provided by Billy-breakfast items and delicious fruits.

Come back cottage is a comfortable and entertaining place to stay in Provincetown. Billy‘s warm welcome and genuine concern during our visit was much appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had every conceivable need covered. Billy's esoteric style is apparent throughout the cottage and fun to explore. The remote controlled lighting was interesting and a bit puzzling and we almost had it figured out by the time we were leaving! The location is just outside the downtown area, which keeps it quiet and peaceful at all hours. Getting to and bicycling through the dunes of the Provincelands on bike trails was easy and fun. Billy had stocked all sorts of foods--fruit, candies, nuts, and even ice cream. He greeted us with a delicious lemon custard that was still warm from the oven. We brought our dog with us, and Billy couldn't have been kinder to him. We'd love to return!

What a lovely time! The cabin is so adorable, absolutely perfect for my honey and I to take some time to rest after a very busy tax season! We planned on doing more around the town during our visit, but the cabin was so nice we stayed in most of the time. We were very close to Commercial St so we did spend a little time bopping around the shops but that was the most of it. All within walking distance, maybe a mile or so to the heart of Commercial St. Definitely worth a stay here!

Billy thought of everything to make our stay personalized and special.
The property is nicely tucked away and such a quintessential artist getaway.
Rustic and packed with everything you need for a special getaway in one open space. You can feel the history and essence of Provincetown everywhere you look.
Comfortable bed, plenty of room in this tiny space.
Fresh local eggs, sweets and a blueberry pie were icing on the cake.
Thanks again Billy!

We could not have chosen a better place to stay. Billy the Go To Man was friendly and helpful. His thoughtfulness left us wanting for nothing! Special treats, decor, the eclectic yet homey vibe it was all more than we'd hoped! Close to town, close to beaches, DOG FRIENDLY in every way... Yet quiet and secluded. It's a haven to retreat back to after outings. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for providing the cherry on top !

Comfortable cottage in a backyard on the edge of the woods. It includes a new washer and dryer which worked great. The kitchen has all the appliances and utensils you need. Hope to come back in the summer.

The cabin itself is an art installation of beauty, interest and delight thanks to creator Billy. But it is also very practical with drawers, hooks and lots of shelves; it is truly astounding of how much art as well as pragmatic needs are packed in there. It is cozy, warm (in winter), well stocked. The bonus of Billy's apple pie, fresh fruit and other treats was wonderful. Lighting is well thought out, again practical and artful. The property was quiet (in November) and had rare green space around it with table/chairs, hammock and even an outdoor shower. It it wasnt so cold we would have enjoyed those as well as the just right front landing area with table and chairs. If you want to be surrounded by beauty, be well cared for, and be restored within a work of beauty and comfort, consder this place.

Caretaker Billy was wonderful. Available for any assistance/questions. He goes out of his way to make you feel very welcome with special treats.
The cottage is very charming and cosy with all the conveniences of home. Kitchen is well equipped for any cooking needs.
Will definitely come back. Come Back Cottage is appropriately named.
Took off one star, the cottage was very sanitary as far as cleanliness goes, but could use a good dusting. And bathroom size could be an issue for a big framed man.

This property is so cute. The pictures are spot in and it's very comfortable. Billy, the caretaker, makes sure you have everything you need and then some! He thinks of everything. My dog Mitch was very at ease there and was always happy to see Billy. Thanks for having us be your guests!

What a lovely nugget at the end of Bradford Street! The caretaker Billy was kind and offered many colorful stories about the property and its history.
It is the quentissental Cape Cod cottage. It was a peaceful relaxing home which was full of amenities.
I will definitely stay here again! Wendy

Can't say enough wonderful things about Billy and his hospitality! So many special details! Exotic fruits and candies as well as two delicious and beautiful lemon treats! A bottle of Prosecco and breakfast with homemade jam.
So, so thoughtful and considerate. And the space was filled with artistic and creative energy.
The location was a perfect for exploring Provincetown walking distance (little over a mile) and set back off the main road so peaceful and quiet.
We definitely plan to "Come Back" and check out all that we missed.
Thank you for making out 19th wedding anniversary so special 💖!

A rustic stay nestled away in the East End just the right walking/biking distance to all of the Commercial Street fan fare.
Come Back Cottage is warm and inviting. The landscape of the property is beautiful. The cottage has all of the amenities you left at home. The bed is dreamy. The decor is eclectic and rooted in the history of the cottage's owners, caretaker and its past guests. Billy, caretaker of the entire property, is an interesting, lovely and thoughtful soul. It was not just a pleasure to stay at Come Back but also a joy to spend time chatting with Billy and a few of the locals.
Like its name, you will want to come back again and again. I know I do.

We just returned from a relaxing week at Comeback Cottage, a quintessential cape cottage you so rarely see anymore. We were welcomed by fresh flowers, fruit, a bottle of wine, and a home made treat for breakfast, all courtesy of the host with the most, Billy. We enjoyed the outside shower, coffee on the porch, the hammock., and monarch butterflies by the dozens. A well stocked kitchen, nice towels and bed linens, strong wifi, lights on a remote switch, what more could you ask for! Thanks for a wonderful week!

Back again!
We spent two glorious late summer weeks at Comeback Cottage. We had a splendid stay and cannot say enough good things about the cottage, the East End of Provincetown and our cottage concierge and caretaker, Billy. If you would like a peek behind the hubbub and glitz of Provincetown this is the place for you - tranquility, art, beaches, good food, nature, friends....We look forward to our next stay.

We Came Back to Comeback Cottage
We had a great time at Comeback Cottage. We were fortunate enough to be able to come back to the cottage after cancellation in May due to COVID. We enjoyed a long weekend with beautiful weather in October and it was so nice to get away after at home all spring and summer long. Great place!
