About this house rental
Nestled in Lake Keowee, this lovely house for $2,194 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Welcome to our dream home on Lake Keowee! We built this home in 2017 and are constantly upgrading and enhancing it. No expenses spared, this home is gorgeous! The home is set in a small secluded and private gated community on the southern part of Lake Keowee. The property offers 180° views of the lake from every room in the house. The cove behind the house is practically a nature preserve. To the left of the home is a beautiful sandy cove bordered by two uninhabited islands that stretch out for ½ mile connected by two sandbars. If you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of the beavers and otters who live on the islands. The right side of the large cove is protected state park property. Directly behind the home and extending for 300+ feet is your private water front access. The home is unique in that it may be the only home on Keowee that offers the use of two full size docks, so there's plenty of space to spread out and dock your toys. Immediately behind our home is an oversized boat dock. Then to the south is our second boat dock with an open boat slip. The main indoor living area is 5,600+ sq. ft, and the home has four porches facing the lake which provide an additional 2000 sq. ft of enclosed porch and patio living. All six bedrooms have unobstructed waterfront views. Four bedrooms have king-size beds. 1 bedroom has two queens and the bunk room consists of 2 bunks (XL long twins/ over 2 queens). The main level kitchen is to die for! It’s beautiful and provides plenty of cabinet space and an oversized island for cooking and entertaining. Appliances are all professional grade Thermador. The home consists of two oversized family rooms. The main level Lodge room, has 23 ft ceilings accented with a beautiful floor to ceiling white limestone, gas fireplace. The lower level family room is set up as our entertainment area and has a pool table, a 85 inch TV, a gaming table and a bar/kitchen area. There are two porches on the main level and two on the lower level. And while that may seem a bit excessive, you'll discover that each of these rooms has their own unique role. We tend to use the large upper porch for our morning coffee and breakfast as well as for evening cocktail hour. The large lower porch is our NCAA game-day room complete with a TV above the fireplace. Ideal for cooler fall days and catching a game. The south porch on the upper level is our outdoor dinning and grilling area with a large 10 person dining room table. And the lower patio is ideal for summer time lunch breaks with the kids. Each of the two large porches have imported Italian tile and large 50-inch custom wood burning fireplaces. The back of the house is just 50 feet from the water and offers an easy grade down to the flat back yard which has 3000 sqft of landscaped recreation areas. To compliment your busy day on the lake, you want to relaxe in the sauna and then enjoy a campfire, a glass of wine with smores at the large fire-pit area 20 feet from the water! New feature in 2023: We upgraded the hardwood floor colors. The complete photo library is not updated yet, but I did add 3 new photos that highlight the kitchen and living room area. We love the new lighter, brighter color! To help with your personal training we did add a set of dumbells totaling ~160lbs (ranging from 3-33 lbs) and a bench. For the convenience of EV owners we added a 240v- 50 amp EV charging outlet that will charge your car in

This beautiful, well-designed and manicured lake house was perfect for 3 families of 4 and our father. It is spacious with a gorgeous porch and view of the lake. The host was very quick to answer with a question when we first arrived.
Bedrooms are large and very comfortable. We already are making plans to visit again!

Great, relaxing weekend with family and friends. This property is perfect for multiple couples. Everyone has their own space….and great gathering areas to enjoy the lake and the view. Fran was always responsive and a great help before and during our stay.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and the location on the lake is perfect - you are on big water, but there are sandbars so you avoid boat traffic. We had 4 families so each couple had a king bed, and 2 rooms for the kids. It was perfect. House was super clean and kitchen was well stocked.
We had one family that wanted to use the sauna and the owners were very quick to respond to our request.
My only suggestion is that, for a house of this caliber, I would have expected a box of tissues in each bathroom along with a starter bar of soap.
We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at this lovely house! There was so much space to spread out with all the wonderful porches and two separate living rooms. We enjoyed the lake and all the fun lake toys too. The house was very convenient for us to attend the Clemson game as well. Looking forward to renting again!

We had a family with 3 generations (8 adults and 5 children under the age of 7) at the house for a week and had a wonderful time. The layout of the house is perfect for a group our size and everyone had their own space to retreat to, while still having large gathering spaces for everyone to be together. We especially loved the screened-in porches!

This home is amazing and so comfortable for a large group. The property was clean and welcoming. There was an abundance of activities on property such as kayaks and paddle boards and the property is close to great hiking trails. Highly recommend.

Our family spent Thanksgiving together at the house. Perfect for entertaining and the kitchen is perfect for a large groups. Spent time enjoying the pool table, sitting by the fireplace and enjoying the cool weather.

This house was just perfect for our group. We are 6 couples that have been attending a Clemson game for over ten years and this was by far the best place we stayed. There is so much space. Fabulous kitchen to cook and eat together and plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. We will for sure be back

We LOVED this house!! We had four adult couples getting together for a family get together and the layout allowed plenty of personal space plus loads of options (dining tables, kitchen, porches, living room, fire pit) for bringing everyone together. The place was clean and well-appointed. The neighborhood/cove are quiet; the views are great; the kayaks/paddle boards were a nice benefit; and the binder of local info was very helpful as newbies to the lake.
Thank you to the hosts!!! Wish we could have stayed longer but we all left with the intent of making our stay at this particular house a regular thing.

Easter weekend retreat
Property was amazing and wonderful. Had lots of amenities, loved the spices available, all TVs worked well, nothing broken and nicely kept. Kitchen pretty much stocked with anything you would need, so our stay was amazing.
Only recommendation to make stay a little easier and this is picky, we don't always pack shampoo and soap as most of the VRBO properties we stay in supply samples. This is a lake property so I suspect many renters drive there but since we were flying and we carry on it is harder to pack anything over 4oz. Just would be a nice convenience since property is not close to any local store to get simple supplies. Overall a wonderful stay!

Oh my goodness what a perfect place for our family! The house is so well designed with an absolutely perfect floor plan! We all loves the modern clean lines, look and feel! The views are spectacular and the house is incredibly close to the water!! We will be back! It’s perfect and our new favorite place!

What an amazing home! The location is about a halfway meeting point for us and family in Florida. We had a group of 6 adults and 4 children (ages 3-10) and certainly had plenty of room to spread out. Our group consisted of an age range from 85 to 1. We try to gather each year to celebrate our mom’s birthday. She loves having her 2 daughters and their spouses along with her 5 granddaughters and their significant others and her great grandson under one roof for a few days. This house allowed for plenty of togetherness with the great outdoor spaces and then enough private spaces for each family to have quiet time. We look forward to returning next year. The pictures don’t do it justice. Came down with family for a Clemson game and to relax with family. We wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy all the amenities. It was a little farther from the school but worth the drive.

This is a true dream home on Lake Keowee. This beautiful home sits on a very quiet park of the lake and the views from every room are fabulous - landscaping and dock are amazing. This house is tastefully appointed and luxurious but incredibly comfortable surroundings throughout make it extra special. Too much to name - but clearly they thought about every inch and it shows.

This is a true dream home on Lake Keowee. This beautiful home sits on a very quiet park of the lake and the views from every room are fabulous - landscaping and dock are amazing. We loved our stay. Have been renting on lake keowee for 10 years. This was our favorite home. Home is in excellent condition. Lots of cooking supplies which we enjoyed. We prefer the north side of the lake so the location was the only down side for us.

1. Clean and spacious (room for everyone to spread out and have their space)
2. Beautifully decorated
3. Full functional kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances. It had everything we needed to cook hearty meals as a family
4. Quiet and cozy cove - allowing the kids to feel safe at swimming. Almost felt like our own private lake area. Water is so clean and clear (absolutely gorgeous)
5. 4 king size beds was a plus - great for adult couples. Mattresses are very soft.
6. We had a boat and 2 jet skis that we brought to the house. The 2 docks were more than ample room to dock our watercrafts.
7. One of the docks has an angled ladder which allowed my 70 year old mother to join all of us in a swim (the angled ladder is helpful for anyone who has been through any knee surgeries or elderly who have problems in range of motion with their legs)
8. Great location - grocery store is only 13 mins away
We enjoyed swimming, boating, tubing, jet skiing, fishing, making SMORES around the fire pit and just relaxing and spending time together as a family.
The owner was super helpful with information about the area and made sure that he presented us with codes and addresses in perfect time of our arrival. Not to mention, he took care of handling storage arrangements for both of our trailers.
This is one place that you will not regret booking!
