Located in Nantucket, this lovely house for $1,633 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This family home offers a unique blend of luxury, space, convenience, and privacy. Relax in the perfect location—near everything, but away from the island bustle on a quiet road abutting the Nantucket State Forest. The property is perfect for extended families, with loads of indoor and outdoor space and comfortable sleeping for 10. THE HOUSE: DESIGNED FOR RELAXATION On the first floor, an open layout offers tons of light and space to spread out. The front room is a great place to gather for family fun, with a TV, a wide selection of games and puzzles, and a large game table. A separate living room features post-and-beam ceilings, a stone fireplace, lots of comfortable seating, and a second TV with an eclectic collection of DVDs. The well-appointed kitchen is designed for cooking, with a Frigidaire gas range and oven, a wine fridge, two sinks, and a Bosch dishwasher. You’ll also find a wide range of tools and appliances, including a blender, ice cream maker, waffle iron, 12-cup coffee maker, teakettle, lobster pots, and more. A kitchen island invites family time during meal prep, while a separate dining area seats 8–10. The main bedroom features a sumptuous king bed, a walk-in closet, a cozy loveseat for reading, and a small flat-screen TV. Large windows bring in morning light, and a French door opens to the back porch and garden. The luxurious main bath offers a whirlpool tub, separate sinks, and a huge dual shower with deluxe rain shower heads. An airy second bedroom on the first floor offers twin beds, great light, and plenty of closet space. Also on the first floor is a private powder room and a separate, well-stocked laundry room. The second floor offers two spacious, light-filled bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with two queen beds. Another full bath includes a shower, bath, and twin sinks. Also upstairs is a charming reading nook featuring a sunny window seat and shelves with books for all ages. You’ll really feel that you’re on vacation in this home. It’s designed for comfort and relaxation, with spacious rooms, cozy seating, comfy beds, and plenty of separate areas for rest, reading, conversation, and family fun. A choice of temperature controls--including screened windows throughout, ceiling fans, and A/C units-- lets you select what works for you while helping to protect the environment. THE GROUNDS: FUN IN THE SUN (OR SHADE) Outside you'll find an inviting wraparound porch that's perfect for morning coffee or wine and cheese in the evening. There's seating all around, including a cushioned sofa and chairs, tables, and lounge chairs for relaxing in the sun or shade. The large private yard has trees full of birdsong, flowering bushes, and lots of space for playing or sunning. A teak patio table with umbrella is great for outdoor dining, and the deluxe gas grill is big enough to cook for everyone. A fully enclosed outdoor cedar shower is the perfect way to end a day at the beach or in town. The house comes with a full complement of beach equipment, including towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers, and sand toys, so you don't have to buy things or drag them from home. You'll also find outdoor games like paddle ball and frisbee. A WONDERFUL CENTRAL LOCATION The property's Surfside location is central to beaches, shops, biking, and hiking. Take the bike path or back roads to the south shore beaches, just 1.4 miles away. The adjacent Nantucket State Forest is great for walking; you can also try out the forest's public 18-hole disc golf course. Right down the street is the Hinsdale Park & Discovery Playground, a multi-use area with a great accessible playground. Also nearby is The Creeks Preserve, a lovely park that overlooks the Creeks salt marsh and Nantucket Harbor. Lots of hidden-gem shops are within easy walking distance, including the Nantucket Meat and Fish Market, Espresso to Go, the Nantucket Bake Shop, Pip & Anchor, and some of the island's best family-owned restaurants. To go further afield, you can catch the WAVE bus line just two blocks away to get to pretty much anywhere on the island. With the forest and loads of amenities right here, town less than two miles away, and beaches even closer, this private getaway has it all! P.S. SUPERIOR CLEANING AT NO EXTRA CHARGE The house is professionally cleaned by one of the island's premier firms, left sparkling clean and disinfected for each new rental group. This cost is included in the rental fee, so you won't find surprise cleaning charges.

Our second time staying here, and just as great as the last! We had a multigenerational family, including an infant and toddler, and had a wonderful time- enjoyed the porch and yard, quick bike rides to Surfside and Miacomet, easy walk to Nantucket Fish and Meat, and Nantucket in general. Out family spends a week on Nantucket each Summer. We enjoyed staying at this woodsy home. It was close to the discovery playground, the forest and downtown. The house had lots for the kids to do and the owner was easy to communicate with. We recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice retreat. We had a wonderful week and look forward in returning.

Conveniently located, this house is a wonderful choice as a home base and a hang out spot. From the house, it is easy to go downtown, visit several beaches, and grab food at markets/restaurants.
Our teenagers enjoyed hanging out in the large living room. The adults enjoyed hanging out in the beautiful backyard.

This was a fantastic property. Beautiful, spacious house equipped with everything we needed. Backed up to lovely wooded area with fun frisbee golf course. Easy bikeride to southern beaches or to town. Easy to Lyft/Uber as well. We loved being there before the Memorial Day crowds and the weather did not disappoint- cool but sunny! So fun to be back on the island. Thank you for a great stay!

We have stayed at this hole several times and always excellent experience. house is well maintained and fully equipped and supplied. we like the location next to forest and convenient central location . nice and quiet. we had some travel difficulties and Karen was very kind and helpful in sorting things out.

Had a wonderful stay, convenient location.Wonderful backyard porch. Spent evenings relaxing on backyard porch which was so relaxing after a day at the beach. Great layout with kitchen open to family room. With nine adults and one two and a half year old, we all had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our stay on the island.

The house was perfect for our family of parents + teens/ young adults. Plenty of room for us all to spread out and yet we could all gather around the table for dinner. House has fun touches and the yard is really great. The bedrooms were very comfortable, but the open kitchen/ living area did get quite warm, it was a very hot week when we stayed. The location is good, easy access to the main bike paths and the forest behind made it feel like a private retreat. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Perfect
I've been lucky to spend the last 20 summer vacations on Nantucket and have stayed in houses all over the island. This house was impressively stocked with every essential- from beach towels to kitchen needs. It was clear that extreme care was put into setting up the house for guests. Our family of 6 had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our down time. 3 bathrooms were key. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect
We had the MOST amazing time for an extended stay at the Partridge's home. We spent the a little over two weeks in Nantucket with extended family, including two small children. The home was immaculate, perfect set up for multi families with privacy on the first and second floor, and ample outdoor space and spots to cozy up with a book or gather as a group. The outdoor shower, front porch, and fantastic location (walking distance to a great market and some fun restaurants including Keepers and Faregrounds) were standouts. Karen and the property manager on the island were fantastic- communicative and helpful. My mother, who has rented beach homes for thirty years, said this was the best stacked home she's ever been in - beach towels, tupperware, games, anything you could need. THANK YOU, and we cannot wait to be back.

It’s far enough away from the noise and traffic, yet within walking distance of the shuttle and easy biking distance to both town and the beach.
The owners clearly put a lot of thought into what their guests might need. The house is well equipped with beach towels, beach chairs, board games, etc. The owners also provided a useful guide to the house and the island and were very responsive to our needs both before and during our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Nice getaway
We had an amazing time in Nantucket. The house is very well kept and spacious. It is away from the downtown area which was fine with us. We relaxed on the deck and grilled most of our meals.
My only suggestion to anyone is they have a vehicle which can go over HUGE dips in the road. We did not and just parked our car on a street about a 3 minute walk away and all was good.
My family will be staying here again next year.

The house was immaculate, well furnished, spacious , and comfortable . Karen was terrific in working out travel problems with us due to storms interrupting ferry service. House was well stocked with every big and little thing . Central location was good for us since it provides easy access to entire island which we enjoy. It’s next to state forest with good walking trails . On quiet and private road . There are good restaurants fairly close to walk to as well as services nearby . . It was perfect for us at this time . Exceptional stay at a wonderful haven
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Nantucket home! The house has a great layout and a warm, welcoming feel. Our 2-family group had plenty of space to be together or to spread out. The rooms are all big, bright, and comfortable. We especially loved the great room with the stone fireplace and the cozy upstairs reading nook. The kitchen had everything. We didn’t try the ice cream maker, but that will be on the list for next time.
The location is perfect--down a quiet road that feels away from it all but is convenient to everything. The state forest is right next door; we had never been there, but it’s a beautiful place to walk. With the bike path just down the road, we were an easy bike ride to Surfside beach, which was gorgeous (and empty) in the off-season.
Karen was a wonderful host. She gave us lots of information about things to do, including shops and restaurants within walking distance. We really felt at home. Overall, we can’t recommend this house enough.
